  • Never mind. Good things come to those who wait; and I should have known right from the start; but somewhere around '82 or '83, my memory drew a blank. Blame it on the new electro-R&B-dance that hit the radio around that time. The song in the double-dutch clip at 0:38 is Slave's "Feel My Love" (1980). Steve Arrington is the lead vocalist. Thanks to port2344chester, whose old-school collection is probably HUGE!

  • And what is that song playing at 0:38? I've been looking for that song for 20 years. I should have bought it when it came out, back in '81.

  • Oh, yeah. I watched this. WNET Channel 13 in NY and NJ televised this in 1981. If memory serves me well, the F4, who were on NBC's 'Real People' in 1980, were barred from this tournament because they violated some sort of rule related to amateurism (they got paid for one of their appearances). If that had happened today, they still would have been allowed to compete. Some people say they were booted because they were too good, even dangerous enough to have beaten today's teams!

  • That's my mother Jumping!!!!...... CJ.....
