  • nice job dude

  • i tried this andi cudnt get it to work :(

  • @goldsgym1244 it just takes, alot of practice and it is easier with a stencil

  • name of the song?

  • Wow this made my flames so much better ! thanks :D 5 stars

  • Good shit man... Looks sick, thanks for sharing. . . .Peace

  • "THNX FOR THE TRX OF THE TRADE.......KEEP ON KEEPIN ON, I'M OUT."

  • Hi tony I'm new at this so my question is are you using white opaque (?) or......? I'm not even sure if that's what you call it, and a green candy? could I use the same process and use a red candy (on a solid black surface)? If anyone has an answer to this please feel free to contact me if Tony is to busy...he get's a million e-mails I imagine. thanks guy's! Sparti

  • what kind of airbrush is that ?

  • @voodooicepops That was a Master airbrush, but he's upgraded a bit since this video.

  • @voodooicepops its a pretty expencive one that u can look at on the walmart site im not sure which it is

  • @voodooicepops im pretty sure its the Iwata 4207 Eclipse HC-CS Airbrush

  • very nice and good videos but dont put in music it is a little bit anoying i cant concentrate about what ur saying :)

(sorry my english not the best )

  • So it looks like you're doing a slightly modified smoke effect at first, then the color brings in the fire...

  • But... can you see the candy effect on the black or not?

  • graziee

  • can u use a red candy

  • not many professionals share info like this...

    keep up the good work

    Happy Motoring

  • Another thing to add to this video is that the clear coat will bring out everything, so don't try and go super heavy with the flames or it'll look like a mess when you spray on the clear.

  • hi can you help me if i had a black piece of plastic with a skull airbrushed on how would i get clear green flames (what i mean is over the skull you can see the clear green flames because its over white but you cant even see that the clear green has been used on top of the black) who would i get clear green flames to be seen on the black and over the skull

  • @mds13696 Use candy over the white. Candy won't show up on black.

  • Thanks a lot for all the videos, with your help I totaly transformed my motorcycle. It took me a lot of time but it was worth it. Thanks a lot

  • BEST!!!! video on how to airbrush flames

  • Which color u used to make layout? Is it white?

  • Very nice,I'm learning!

    Paisano

  • i like green flames :)

  • I twisted my head in different directions watching this.. and I don't know why. this is amazing art man

  • Now can you do this on metal or will it rub off cause id like to do this technique on my computers case since the sides are removable but im worried if people come over and try rubbing it or something it will smear or even worse get it on something else of mine like my carpet if their dumb enough. Ty

  • @Twistedsister543 Im pretty sure you canand you should clear coat it anyway to protect it.

  • how much does a airhbrush cost?

  • @jolatyppi its cost about 300 dollar-500 dollar

  • @negerjens1 nice, can people also do this shit with spray?

  • @jolatyppi I bought one cheap one for 35 euros few years back.

It did it job but once I didnt remember to clean it and it broke=(

  • Excellent tutorial, makes things clearer and more specific, I congratulate ...

  • how can some1 dislike this awesome vid?

  • is it really that easy? Or am I imagening things?

  • whats this for a stencil?:-o

  • Hey....I dont get it........help?

I dont know, I am a first time noob

  • ive already bought an airbrush set and colors lol. Im going to customize some drums like this, i cant wait

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!! thanks a lot men planning on my 90 old truck

  • This was a really good informal video. Anyoning looking to start airbrushing flames needs to look at this video.

  • what air source do u use

  • man, you got it going on.

  • its green flames, not realistic because if it would be realistic it would be red :P nice job!

  • whats the difference between adding kandy green and just adding straight green paint?

  • @bboy0610 candy green, from what i understand, is a sort of semi translucent paint that will look different depending what base coat it is on.

  • Awesome.

  • thats what i want do to.Bad as hell man.

  • This is cool man,thanks

  • holy fuck jesus in the ass with a pool cue. that is amazing. O.O

  • Tight "How to", Devil Dog. I am using Createx since I am a beginner. Can I use the transparent colors instead of the Candy colors? Just go over the white with transparent blue, or will the effect not come out as good as with the candy?

  • @H60hadgi You can, but remember that the trans colors are still a pigment and not a candy dye, so go really really light on the layers. Transparents will eventually build up and you'll have a semi-opaque.

  • What are those masks called that you are using? I've seen people use them, bet where do you get them? Did you hand cut those? Thanks for the great vid BTW.

  • Thanks a lot bro !!! Awesome !! :D

  • Your videos are really awesome and really helpful in learning to airbrush! - Great Thanks for that great job you are doing.

  • dude you do a great job at explaining, now i feel much more confident about this flame job i need to do on a friends guitar, i'll let you know how that goes. thanks

  • what typ of brush

  • REAL =) RESPECT!!!

  • medioker(incert bad spelling here)!! i would pay you to air brush for me for sure! thats really good man!

  • Can someone help me? I can't find candy colour, is there any alternative? Would a very diluted paint work? Or is there some other thing i can do to substitute?

  • @thenande I've heard (never tried this myself) that if you mix acrylic floor polish with transparent paint (Createx), it gives you a "candy" type paint.

I want to try this on a piece of scrap metal before doing a real project with it.

If you try it, let us know how it works out.

  • stencils are so damn expensive

  • awesome flames dud you totally helped me get a better idea what to do !!

  • hello friend first of all a big hello from Venezuela, is very, very good work and I have a question for you and I would love to have your answer .My question is this . that makes use airbrush? and model ... many thanks and a big hug from Venezuela . many thanks.

  • awesome i did what you said and it love the result

  • muy bueno ,pero seria bueno que tenga subtitulos en español,gracias

  • Can someone tell how much an airbrush kit is?

  • so.. cool i need it that thanks..

  • you guys got any idea what can i paint on my asus K52JK without removing the name Asus from behind. Thank you.

  • @TheNotyownz get some masking tape or transfer paper... Paint the name asus white, and then when you paint over it, use a candy of some kind so the "Asus" name will still show up... That or just mask off the name so it doesn't get paint on it :)

  • u are really cool man :)

  • What's with the blaring music? It really is annoying!!! You have to turn it down then turn up to hear the talking. Rethink the way you do these and make it about painting NOT entertainment.

  • I can't find the Kandy Green on any website... where can i get it?

  • muchas gracias buen trabajo!

  • Thanks Tony !!! I watch and learn from you every night !!! You are awesome !!

  • I'm mesmerized!! you're a genius!!

  • fantastic work

  • What´s the name of the soundtrack?

  • That is a brilliant effect, I was loving the Hot-Rod flames untill I saw this realistic flames, it almost looks like a hologram the way each layer sinks further into it !!!

  • this is awesome! keep it up

  • Sweet job! What is the color you laid your base with? Is it white? You might have mentioned it but I didn't catch it if you did. I would like to paint a tool box this same color and everything, how hard would it be?

  • @ShimmyDeburr wouldn't be super hard as long as you've used an airbrush before, and yes its white he's using... .As for the toolbox, you'll need to make sure you have the correct paint, as some don't stick very well to metals or plastics... in which case you'll need a primer or adhesive promoter.. and it being a toolbox, i would give it several coats of clear just for that extra bit of protection lol

  • @Ultimabong Thanks

  • you're awesome airbrushtricks..... i love your work

  • im painting my friends truck if he doing the truck gloss black and im going in and laying out some flames on the doors could you just start out with the color flame your gonna have instead of coating the all of the with another layer

  • how does the candy green or whatever it was not show up much on the black?

  • @2j4l6h8j

a candy color is also known as a transparent color it only shows up in light area's witch is why people use candy colors on black so they don't have to worry about it as much

in the case that the candy does show up on black than its either not a true candy color or you have white over spray if you don't whipe down the over spray from the airbrushing when you clear the project it acts like a mop and will create a dull spor

    witch is bad

  • Thanks that sounds easy and understandable

  • this was amasing. the way u axplaind it, even I understand it :) ur good and I have been praktising for some time. this gave me another boost, thx m8 :)

  • What paint r u using dude?? house of colour? Com-art Airbrush colours? or Auto-air? & what is the difference on the same brand when they say opaque colour or clear.. to do with the shine or covering properties??? help!!! got the missing link there!!

  • your the mantis, bud.

  • im making a guitar (b.c. rich mockingbird an im painting both sides just like this

  • what is the kandy coat? I heard it reffered to before, as a dye, is this why it doesn't cover the black as well? what is the workings there?? if it works how I think you could just do it on a black base coat of regular enamal, and use any type of dye, then a urathane coat betwen, is this assumption correct?

  • does anyone know title of this song?

  • ; ) you get that touch to make things look easy to do and teaching to do them easy too (in greek that's didaktikos something many guys lack) many thanks :D

  • where do ii get that paiper/plastic thing u use to get the flame curvs nice

  • @dddduuuu11 You can probably find the vector image on the internets, print it out and trace it over to some hard plastic so you can cut it out.

  • thx ^^

  • @dddduuuu11

You can make ur own :) its easy + u can make alot of deferend variations so u'll have alot of cool and creative guidelines

  • @dddduuuu11 that is easy just go for any store where they sell graphic stuff and they will have these plastic shape line... i use to use them in technical and graphic design at school... common stuff!! but very handy!!! good idea!!

  • Fuckn hot!! shot alot for the info

  • damn so beautifull

  • Absolutely awesome.

  • you guys fail

  • what color candy should I use if I paint blue flames on green surface? And Iam not an expert in painting so I dont know if its a dumb question :D

  • nice grat info man thnks

  • great info!!

  • realy nice1

  • but wouldnt the candy coat kinda mess with the black a little?

  • its probably transparent candy green so it wouldnt show up on black as much as it does on white

  • candy paint is just clear coat thats tinted

  • i know

  • you are the best

  • hey man i was just woundering do you have to use a candy color when you go over with like the color green?

  • yes otherwise the green will show up on the black and it wont look like flames it will look like just a area painted green

  • must have watched this video 50 times :P love it just wish i could get a airbrush and do it :[

  • Man I just did mine as I went... doesn't work too well lol

  • Dude who are you to make such remarks, i don't see you adding anything better. Airbrushing is not as easy as it looks and this dudes flames are ok.
