if such a massive planet was really there it wouldn't appear only in a picture would it? the entire world would stand in awe! not to mention it would have been visible for years through the thousands of telescopes on ground and space, seen it approaching our solar system and closing in and monitored like mad. there's no such thing. this is indeed lens flare. sorry to have shattered your dreams.

@SpaceKills My dreams are far from shattered. Lens flare? BUWHAHAHAHAHA. Angle from sun to camera makes that impossible, not to mention a dark object, the church, separating the sun, object, and camera. That object is behind the church and it was there at time of picture. You would have had to look directly at the sun to see it, thus temporarily blinding you, making it impossible to see with the naked eye.

Actually no, the flare is exactly where it should be expected.

The object is left of the church many degrees and would be naked eye visible if real.

You're not in shadow, the church would not prevent a flare.
