I am happy to see they are making new ones. But however, the series ended with me after RE3. I did however accept Code Veronica, Survivor, RE4, and Outbreak as good games. But the story has just got ridiculous. A rated M game written in crayon that is suppose to appeal to children or adolescent minded grown ups.

@dragon4xxx I don't think this will come out for the PS3 since Capcom would need to revamp the graphics for said console. Give it the HD treatment and whatnot. If they're ever porting it to another console it would be the Wii since it has similar technology as the 3DS. Both systems have more or less the same power capability. I doubt it will happen in either case, though. Revelations is being designed to make use of the 3DS exclusive features and technology. A port won't happen any time soon.

This Video is showing flashbacks of the 2nd spencer estate (the one in which jill tackles wesker out of a window) Because the gear is the same and their weapons are standard BSAA and NOT stars so its impossible for this to be anywhere before re4 timeframe.

Also, you should know in the first Resident Evil game, you witness his death by the tyrant. The tyrant clawed straight through Weskers heart, but because of Weskers VIRUS he has inside of him, he was able to REGENERATE, making him come back to life.

3DS will be awesome but aside from graphics, this game will most certainly not be. I can think of a bunch of games for the system that will be more interesting. Metal Gear Solid, Kid Icarus, Pilotwings, Zelda: Ocarina of Time... Another RE in the same vein as the pitiful RE 4 and 5 is not what I want. I want a real RE game like 1, 2 and CV.

@mcgeeYGB1 Its def after 3. The clothing they're wearing is BSAA clothing, therefore it has to be after 2003. Meaning it's also probably after 4. This Video is showing flashbacks of the 2nd spencer estate (the one in which jill tackles wesker out of a window) Because the gear is the same and their weapons are standard BSAA and NOT stars so its impossible for this to be anywhere before re4 timeframe.

The paragraphs a wrote are the real intended timeline of the resident evil series. jill and chris were not ever in the BSAA when the went after spencer because spencer died before 4, capcom had a new director for 5 and he completly fucked up the timeline and everything else like, let me see , the full game ! he even had no faith for it before it was realesed. @darxeth oh yeah and the BSAA was before 5 they actually started in Code veronica, as you will seee chris wearing the earlie version of the BSAA uniform also it says that the BSAA started after the racoon city inccident and also jill and chris when the were wwith the BSAA during the 4th game the infiltrated umberella's russian arctic base to destroy mass BOW's you also play this part of the story in RE UC so there you have it :) my opinion could be very more truer than yours :)

@Clavsicus Y'know, most HUNK fans I know of don't want him to star in a game because it will probably take the mystery/cool factor away from him. That's what happened with Albert Wesker. He was cool working his stuff in the shadows in the classic games right up to RE4. But in RE5 they turn him into this stereotypical super-villain that wants to rule/destroy the world. So cliché. Oh and Albert IS DEAD. Another user posted something here explaining that fact. He's gone. And Ark was like Leon 2.0

Also, you should know in the first Resident Evil game, you witness his death by the tyrant. The tyrant clawed straight through Weskers heart, but because of Weskers VIRUS he has inside of him, he was able to REGENERATE, making him come back to life.

@jameshowell14 They already explain it all. Wesker is dead because his character arc was OVER according to Capcom. There was nothing more to say or add to it. The only way they could move the story forward was by creating this backstory that involved the Wesker children.

But like I said before, the producers of RE5 that created this new twist in the storyline are the ones responsible for Albert's death. They said it. He's not coming back EVER. And the only Wesker coming back might be Alex.

But I do agree with you, I do think that the man sitting in that chair is Alex Wesker. I think that because their are some highly similar traits between him and Albert Wesker. One of them is that the guy has a VERY similar accent compared to Wesker and if you look at his hair, it looks blonde, just like his too.

Metal Gear Solid, Kid Icarus, Pilotwings, Zelda: Ocarina of Time... Another RE in the same vein as the pitiful RE 4 and 5 is not what I want. I want a real RE game like 1, 2 and CV.

If you pay attention you will see that Capcom have altered the trailer to confuse all of us. Like the guy sitting on the chair is given Chris voice but then we see that he isn't Chris at all. Then you got Jill and Chris exploring the boat together. And then they point their guns at each other. So we're missing a lot of info here.
