I can not believe he insults Shepard Fairey and praises Ed Hardy, Ed Hardy is more of a corporate (FAD) clothing company. Shepard Fairey was a street artist for over a decade before he made his company. He risked his life and spent his money for an art that made no monetary return. I do not believe he is in it for the money. Besides Shepard Faireys art is there to spread his political views, I dont know if this jackass understands politics. Ed Hardy is just FUCKEN TATTOOS, and his clothes suck.

You can make the argument that Shepard Fairey is a sellout. And you can fault him for being an 'opportunist'. But let's call a spade a spade. The Obey Giant has been prevalent street art for 20 years now. To imply it hasn't had lasting impact and is therefore not art, is farce. The Ed Hardy brand has been bastardized beyond recognition. I'm sure the Ed Hardy Eau de Toilette at Rite-Aid really 'transcends'.

To me, hes a great graphic designer (much in the realm of Andy Warhol) who has framed his prints and called them art.
