copy any move and you will unlock the selene (Astrea FGA II) is soo hard I died 2 times for not following XD but weird they do the same move maybe you should get the Endymion II and get a flash (UNLOCKED BY SHOTING THE MONKEYS LEG) or a python (SHOTING (THE CARRIER WHEN YOU ARE ENTERING THE BASE)

Nice job on getting through that level, the mid boss was harder than the final one it seemed. I still have this game but its so scratched up it only loads halfway through the game which sucks.

Use R1 to move the underarm. It can be used as a weapon on its own, and can even block bullets. While I don't know how the HUD's not there, I find this one hell of a good demonstration of this little trick. ^_^

Taking nothing away from Honegypsum's accomplishment, it goes without saying that using an emulator substantially reduces the work one has to do in order to conceive a no-shot run like this.

One could just record a state and keep doing a stage until its cleared, then just post each saved state as a vid. Not saying that's the case. It would be more of an accomplishment if one could do such a run in one playthrough consistently.

Great Vid. I've had this game for many years but never had the guts to sit down and do "bullet eater" sort of run. Nice work. And for all the haters, why dont you guys actually go find yourselfs a copy and try it, just because its emulated doesnt mean cheats were involved. Try going to the Ikaruga vids and call them cheaters too. Especially the the people that do the no-fire runs.

Using your arm/weapon to block shots in the second half of this level is the safest way to go across it, imo.

Indicators can be erased by pushing the [Select] button. I erased it because it was unnecessary for this play.

It only makes sense that he chose the Endymion Mk. II. Other fighters will auto-shoot when you use the manipulator arm, and the police fighter doesn't have a 'melee weapon'.

Excellent run. Every shmup should have a system like this where if you can get by without firing a single shot, so be it. I'm a shmup player, but I completely spam shots and miss a lot of my targets anyway. I wouldn't be too much fun to watch.
