@hamyman123 Hamsters are natural swimmers. He would have been fine. Side note: It had not occurred to me that there are hamsters that live in the wild until recently. Just thought I'd share.

@Chikken21 Hamster can swim, but like any other rodent they can suffer from deadly infections of their middle ear and/or nasal area from getting wet. Animals are NOT toys and rodents must not be in water. Pls people, don´t do so. In the vets office I see rodents dying from such infections month by month. It´s not alright to do this.
