I met her in 1985 and she talked in a British accent. She did it again when I met her in 1992. I don't think it has much to do with where she is. I think she just picks up different personas along the way,she changes accents and clothes when it suits her.

When you live someplace you automatically pick up the accent. I'm from the south, all my family sound like they are from Mayberry. I've lived in NYC for 15 years, so when I go home I sound like a yankee and my family sound like hicks to me. If I stay in the south long enough, when I go back to NYC my friends say I sound "southern."

She's a great actress. Did Kim Cattrall copy Madonna to give life to Samantha Jones in Sex and the City? Madonna is really doing some great stuff her. She is every much funny today. Hope she does a comedy.
