well the lion could have crushed all but the adult rhino but its a fact that lions and hyenas have beef and i cant blame the lions for hating them and at a chance to take 1 down i would to they are the such ruthless and brave hunters they even go after cubs of lions so its a war out there

i have to reiterate. I think the Lion purposefully saved him/her. if the lion was out and about seeking a carcus, he wouldn't have just darted out of nowhere like that and it is a fact lions hate hyenas and saw the little guy in distress. but like i said, only the lion knows for sure. but why did he cover the baby rhino? you can see it once he the lion gets up after tackling something, that something turns out to be the rhino, and i think one of the hyenas. if it was both then I see why.

Its not always because of a meal PEOPLE. Maybe the lion was bored.Seriously.My dog does the same thing when she sees other little kids or dogs runnin around.She just joins in and plays along...
