@XxBeelzeBubxX Ive read it, and i THINK (bad memory) he's referring to his drug dealer he was with in the first verse (think he got shot up - first 2 lines in last verse hint it). Jay z REGRETs sending him out to do the deal and wish he did it himself, so his guy wasnt dead. Hes thinking about getting revenge against people that killed him and in the last 2 lines he realises hes too caught up in his homies spirit (regretting about lettin him die) nd moves on, then 1st chorus repeats his epiphany
