  • GRANDE GRANDISSIMO worl wide muzic.

  • everything KRS-ONE is saying..is still relevant till this day!

  • ya he's the greatest, krs1 the greatest ala Muham. ali... Ya right he the greatest liar of all time krs1 was a homeless crackhead that would have sold his soul to the devil for a scruptious cupcake... This greatest teacher in hip hop is actually the greatest crackhead in hip hop....*

  • A 43 year old white man from Oregon still relates 23 years later to the message. It continues to cover issues " to what we call hip hop, and what it meant to DJ SLR".

Inspiring philosophy trandsending decades and generations. Thanks KRS 1, your just the guy to lead a crew.

    JBMc

  • @safeharbor2010 What message that krs1 is the greatest crackhead liar in hip hop.

  • A hip hop classic.

  • @Firestartersan a crackhop classic.

  • i draw strength from this song, krs one, this message. i always come back to it. this song woke me up to the world at 10yrs old. a very loud, proud, and audacious alarm clock!!

  • I think Scott La Rock got killed durin the makin of the song, but this iz real hip hop rite here, so for all them lil candy ass rapper who don't no real hip hop, get a pen and pad out cuz ya gettin schooled

  • @razprblade71mob scott died skwishing a bee. but in the making of their second album which this is on.its a shame

  • one of the illest song...period. lyrically krs-one spits venom!

  • This has always been one of my favourites, its so prophetic by that it is even more relevant now than back then, this sums up everything that pisses me off about certain individuals in Hip Hop & the record industry that has pimped it to death over the decades, the truth will set you free!!!!

  • BEST EVR BEST 2 BELIVE IT

  • "Rap iz like a set-up; a lotta gamez

a lotta suckaz wit colorful namez

    'I'm so-&-so, I'm this, I'm that'

but they're all just weak-weak WACK!!"

  • what happened to real hiphop like this

  • @tableturns77 I think black culture is so homogeneous now. Everyone dresses the same, "flows" the same, acts the same. Yo being OG aint going for the purple and red sneakers and all-over print sweater rather than the Lebron jersey and AF1s you fuckin mindless fucks. You aint hawt, your swagg aint shit and yeah old men like KRS and me will knock your ass out.

  • @trichome333 This is true...But the only thing that you are wrong is that black culture has takin over the generation of all time just look at the t.v. shows and the sports and celebreties...just look in the white house even he has swagg...Tiger too he has taken the golf world to new hype...

  • @tableturns77 peope with no intellegence banded together 2 to give suckas a pass to think they can touch a microphone

  • Real hiphop, Boogie Down Productions is the shit!

  • BDP is in full cognitive & total Hiphop e-f-f-e-c-t on the dope conscious tip!!!!!

Who gets weaker? The king or the teacher

It's not about a salary- it's all about reality.....

  • CLASSSIC!

  • Great vid man. Love BDP. But I gotta disagree with gangsta rap being started with Criminal Minded. Schoolly D kicked that off with "P.S.K." and Ice-T ran with it when he came out with "6 in the Mornin' " I mean Criminal Minded was a good album though.

  • @LazarusDurden

    co-sign 100%...

  • @LazarusDurden

BDP's Criminal Minded was the 1st full fledged gangsta rap album although Schooly D (PSK) & Ice T (6 In The Morning) put out the first gangster rap records respectively.

This joint describes the very current state of corporate sponsored mainstream dumb downed hippop- Hiphop's soulless cousin, to a tee!!

BDP Posse in full & total e-f-f-e-c-t!

  • What can I say....

The video makes the song even better, you're an amazing guy that keeps uploading these videos.

The only thing I can say is, keep it up with your work, peace & respect. 8D

  • Hell yeah BDP! Takes me back to middle school days. Classic!
