I have more than 2 friends who have autistic children (one set of twin boys) and they are CONVINCED it is because of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella shot). So what I did was... i put off the rubella and mumps shot until son was 3, and he got the measles shot at age 5.

I've never had a flu shot and I've only had it once in my life. And like most times when I get sick, I didn't get it nearly as badly as others did. The virus mutates to fit whoever it infects, so a flu shot is useless.

My daughter never had any vaccinations, and when we were pressured to get her an SSN and birth certificate, we refused. We got a hospital certificate instead which has all the same info on it, but the hospital gets $5000 for every SSN they can get and $5000 for every birth certificate they can get.
By the way, my daughter has been more healthy than her corresponding cousins who have had their lives wreaked with diseases so far, even though they got the "immunizations."
I had to go through with it because I live on a military installation in another country. I couldnt have gotten her passport or birth certificate without those shots. I am moving back to america in a few years and I wont get her any more shots. Kudos to your healthy kid, I figure as long as the child gets moms antibodies from breast milk, immunizations are unncessary but whatever..the gov't is selfish

Thats not how vaccines work. Vaccines attack the immune system, but not as much as the real illness would. The body then creates antibodies, naturally, which can fight off the illness later. You do not and can not become dependant on vaccines.

I am actually a believer in vaccines. I'm vaccinated against everything, including flu. I got my shot this season and didn't get sick. While vaccines are potentially bad, they also can be extremely good. At least being partially/potentially immune to something is better than not at all.
All I know is that Mercury is the 2nd most toxic compound known to man & I hear that it is still in the vaccines along with a grocery list of other toxins & poisons.

No ehthlymercury is harmless, Methylmercury is harmul, although if it was present in the doses that ethylmercury is present, it would be harmless. And after ethylmercury was removed from some vaccines, autism and other neurological disorders actually increased.
If you're going to make extraordinary claims like that, you need to back them up. Please point me to the reputable scientific study that confirms conclusively that there is a link between mercury used to preserve vaccines and autism.

She has never caught the measles, or chicken pox, the mumps.. absolutely never been sick in her whole life. No allergies.. nothing.
But every vaccine they gave me I caught the disease within 3 weeks. If vaccines really work then I should not have caught all these illnesses. You get natural immunity from your mothers milk.

Again, anecdotal. Vaccines work. How effective they are for any given idividual varies, sick people, elderly people have less immune response to the priming by vaccine. Clinical and epidemiological studies of millions of people have proven beyond any reasonale doubt that vaccines are effective. I don't think you've had measels mumps or rubella have you? Maybe you already have some sort of immune system deficiency.

Wrong, it is there to attenuate the virus and more importantly to prevent any other microbes from growing. Before the introduction of these preservatives people were dying from secondary infections following vaccines. After they were introduced, there have been no such cases to the best of my knowledge.

There is one thing that happens for all science papers, it's called peer-review. As always i find that most of the people like you pick up some bits from bogus websites. You do not have science backgroud therefore you lack even the tools to understand fully what you read.
I.e. Most of the thousands of med's curriculum in this world are not paid by pharm corp. You have a priori bias: you are a conspiracy person.

And in the event of a catastrophic auto accident, I admit I'd probably need to avail myself of pharmacology. That is, in an emergency. But I deny needing "some pharma corp always." Ubiquity does not equal necessity. This may shock you, but a person may live a long healthy life without EVER resorting to pharmaceuticals. I know, shocking, right ?

You are clearly unaware of non-allopathic methods for curing, not merely "managing," diabetes mellitus and a host of other disorders. Most pharmaceuticals cannot reverse or correct a disorder. Insulin, for example, is not "curative." Cure ought to be the medical standard, NOT palliative. It's true that few clinical studies have been done on other methods, the obvious reason being that pharma corp won't benefit financially from the results. Do a search about this, please.

Diabetes is not a question of "managing". The disorder is controlled very well with insulin, and it is the the best to deal with type 1. People are healthy with controlled shots. Therefore treated. What other methods could you propose to treat type 1 diabetes?
Pharma corp is just a group who produces a needed product.
I can post hundreds of studies on treatments.

It IS a question of managing; your term is "controlled," but that's not semantically distinct from "managed."
You do not counter my contentions that:
a.) cure rather than palliation should be the medical standard and,
b.) the conventional therapy for Type II diabetes does not cure it but merely "treats" it

I know palliative care is a medical standard, but palliative care ought not to have primacy over cure. My argument re: non-allopathic therapies applies to d. Type I as to Type II. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is different. But i could challenge you the same way.

What an idiot. It's not a lucky guess what goes into the flu shot. It's a scientific estimate based on evidence. Research has shown that the strains that are prevalent in any given year are those that prevail in Asia and Australia several months before the flu season in the US. That's what goes into the vaccines the following flu season. Not that anyone care to acknowledge, but this guy is also a profiteer. So his argument against pharma is nullified by his own interests. Profits before reason.

(con't from below) There is NO reason you have to have the MMR shot at 15 months, let alone grouped together. It might be more expensive and more inconvenient cause more shots and more appointments, but totally worth it imo. If I could do it over again, I would declare Relgious Exemption. Just type on the Internet Religious Exemption and there should be a formatted letter you can sign to exempt yourself. As for flu shots, JUST SAY NO!!!

Wow, I feel bad for all of you military people. I, as well, was not thrilled to give my son his immunizations. I have more than 2 friends who have autistic children (one set of twin boys) and they are CONVINCED it is because of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella shot). So what I did was... i put off the rubella and mumps shot until son was 3, and he got the measles shot at age 5.

If someone were to hire an attorney and challenge this, Since Insulin is deadly, use Insulin as amunition in court. Have a doctor perscribe Insulin, syringes and a flew shot to someone. Let them go in and fill the perscriptions. Have it filmed. Obviously, they have to hand you the insulin, syringes...when they deny the flew vaccine to be handed to you...take it to court!!! Let a judge try to tell you the flew vaccine is more dangerous than Insulin. If it in fact is, why should anyone take it!!

I've never had a flu shot and I've only had it once in my life. And like most times when I get sick, I didn't get it nearly as badly as others did. The virus mutates to fit whoever it infects, so a flu shot is useless.

I had to go through with it because I live on a military installation in another country. I couldnt have gotten her passport or birth certificate without those shots. I am moving back to america in a few years and I wont get her any more shots. don't you love it how you get pressured into giving your children these vaccinations. when i moved to the U.S. to get into high school i needed about 5 or 6 vaccinations which i had never got or never planned to get. i alway's thought that the best way to fight an ilness was to let the body produce antibodies naturally that way your immune system will be strong and not dependant on "shots" for the rest of your life.

Thats not how vaccines work. Vaccines attack the immune system, but not as much as the real illness would. The body then creates antibodies, naturally, which can fight off the illness later. You do not and can not become dependant on vaccines.

I am actually a believer in vaccines. I'm vaccinated against everything, including flu. I got my shot this season and didn't get sick. While vaccines are potentially bad, they also can be extremely good. At least being partially/potentially immune to something is better than not at all.

Well did you know that botox is the 1st most toxis compound known to man. Also it is in the form of ethylmercury which, in the doses that is present in the flu vaccine is harmless. You ingest a higher does of ethylmercury from eating a can of tuna, the harmful type of mercury is methylmercury, which is not present in vaccines at all. That is the type of mercury that causes autism. Ever since that mercury was taken out of some vaccines for children autism and other neurological disorders dropped 40 percent. Why do you think it's the most obese country? And of course a link wouldn't be proven with vaccines because a disorder can take years to form after the vaccine is administered. And you can't really think a study like that would ever be allowed to be published anyways. It's the same reason the U.S. companies wanted to outlaw vitamin C.
