At first it seemed Lector gave the police detective hope that he would live if he gave the correct answers!

Love the way Lector was so polite to the detective and thanked him for his answers - just before killing him.

Also his calmly whistling Rock a Bye Baby as he wheeled the detective to the balcony was nice.
