The main problem with mass queen is the inability to put any real pressure until mid-game. If you run up against a player that instantly responds to seeing all those queens with a double or triple expand, that's a wrap for you, especially vs zerg where you don't even gain additional equity from creep tumors. It seems solid vs toss or terran, but vs another zerg, fuggedaboutit. Catz would have lost that mirror if blue had just parked that roach army outside his base killing tumors and expanding.

I'd give most credit for it being not common and used by a relatively better player (What i mean is Catz would most likely win these games anyways REGARDLESS of his strategy). In an even match AND ppl who knows how to react. Emp and Feed back just instant GG (not even talking about how hard it is to actually use Queens in games). ZvZ im not too sure. But not feasible at all in higher levels if u r not much better than ur opponent. In lower levels, I don't know.

@slbaaron Dude, what you fail to understand is that when Catz ladders he faces people of a similarly high skill level. The reason these games are impressive is because of this fact, NOT in spite of it. Catz may be good, but he's not God. Mechanically, Emp, doesn't deal with the queen dps and tanking. Feedback comes in waaay to late for it to have much if any impact. To reiterate, the reason day9 is so exited about these games is that Catz is making them feasible against other skilled players.
