  • Awesome!

  • Where is Jesus Christ in all this God is not into religion but a relationship through Jesus Christ.

  • the catholic church is full of love, serenity in spirit, joy with the whole community of the church..she doesnt teach hatred, false or even grudges to other brothers and sisters outside her church, unlike other sects do just to convince once poor soul..im sorry to tell this but its true..peace to all God`s children..the holy church of God the catholic is all the time open and waiting for you to come HOME..

  • @deryl1023

Amen to that. I pray that one day all peoples will find the joy of the real presence in Gods Church. God Bless you

  • Thanks to You Tube and the Internet we can now see the fruits of the Protestants. Jesus said, "By their fruits you will know they are mine." See how they rile and spew poison against the Catholic Church. See how they doctor images and photos, lie and tell falsehood, curse and create prophesies about the Catholics. What can the Catholic Church do about it, except to remain silent and meek as a lamb brought to the slaughter like Her Lord and Master before Pilate and his cohorts. Sad but true.

  • Religion is reaching towards heaven in search of meaning for life and working one's way to God through 'good works' in hope that God will be accepting of our efforts to please Him. Christianity is simply God in His mercy reaching down through Jesus Christ and lifting man back up into fellowship and intimacy with Him. "For by GRACE you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  • @sdwardcom For you, chopping off the head and showing it as proof of the whole person is suffice. No torso, no arms and hands, no legs and feet. Please search the bible for the missing body parts. "By lies, they will fool many".

  • @rocky60191 As one might suspect, I don't hang out on YT much. I think my last time was 3 months ago or so. This said, I must've missed something. I'm totally clueless to what you're talking about. If you're referring to the Body of Christ, I'm not sure why you'd want dismember it. If you're talking about something else, maybe it'd be fruitless to try to explain it to me since I'm rather simple minded when it comes to God. "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." (Jesus) ~ blessings2U

  • @sdwardcom 3 months is a long time. I was talking about the bible verse that you quoted. "For by GRACE you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).The Sola Fide. This is dismembering the context of the bible passages. In Eph 2 you will find that Paul is saying how Christ gave the Salvation Promised to the Jews to the Gentiles as a gift of God because they put their faith in Jesus. Not by works.

  • @rocky60191 so right you are, and you are exactly right. There is way too much scripture slinging around that takes scripture out of context, i.e. the cafeteria Christian, and as much as it grieve the Father, people use His Word to say whatever they need it to say in order to justify their beliefs, attitudes or actions. Thanks for sharing your opinion on this and for bringing clarity for those that might not fully understand what I have said or at least attempted to say... :-) In Christ's Love

  • good choice, thank you

  • If Jeezus is your husband, Epicurus will rock your world, trust me!

  • awesome

  • Beautiful Story. Thank you.

  • This girl found her peace, and her joy. Who are you people, to bring her down, just because she found it in the Catholic Faith? Back off!

  • @lace2u1 That very Jesus like. Well, I won't be finding Jesus here that's for sure.

  • @soulsurcher It sure is Jesus like, I am glad you agree. Jesus lives in our Catholic Church, sorry you can't face that.

  • @lace2u1 you told me! lol

  • Rom12:3"according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith" I don't doubt people's faith in God. I do question the motive of the Catholic church as a whole. The Catholic church and it's practices are unbiblical and do not pertain to salvation. When a person was baptized in bible they were all of mature age none of them were infants. The men and women of the bible were all learned men and women of the law of God. We have the bible now, but not to many Catholics are learned in the word.

  • @soulsurcher not biblical eh?the catholics didn't remove chapters from the bible because "they didn't feel like people needed to hear the word",, that would have been protestants. catholics are very biblical, and everything we believe comes from the bible.

  • @lace2u1 If you say so

  • @soulsurcher see, you people come on here, and bash this faith, WITH NO facts, and when I actually give you facts, you can't say anything except "if you say so", maybe you should learn your faith a little better, instead of a faith you don't even believe in.

  • @lace2u1

You know. I've never been told as a kid and attending Catholic schools to hate or bash anyone else's faith.

I've never been told non catholics would go to hell.

I've never been pushed or taught to convert anyone from their faith.

I've always been told to try understanding and giving love. If I learned properly that's another story.

That's far from what I see from almost every other religion.., specially on many Christian protestant denominations. I'm proud of being Catholic.

  • Amazing- Thanks so much for helping me come back to the Lord. God Bless you!

  • Truly beautiful <3 The answer to all of your questions/concerns, message us privately.

  • Rina! You Rock!

  • Rina! You Rock!

  • Rina welcome to the Catholic Church family! You are so lucky and you found he real true church!

  • make you a compliment - you really have got a nice look !

  • Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  • Now that you joined RCC, you should consider getting out. Read Revelation 17 and 18. God says depart from her my people so that you do not share in her sins.

  • @jamezbond78 Maybe you should read the early Church fathers and see that nowhere in early Christian documents is it declared that the Bible is the only, sole source of God's truth.

  • @TenderTrap86 - one day the devil will appear and present to you documents that say God's word is untrue. The devil will say only a fool uses scripture, and the devil will say he has the source of truth. The scripture says that Satan is a liar and the father of lies, and many will come saying they are Christ, but they will be devils. Read 2 Peter 3:16-18. The scripture even warns that people will come to deceive you away from the written truth. Who will you believe?

  • @jamezbond78 The Bible isn't the only source of God's revealed truth to mankind. And, not to mention, Biblical fundamentalism refutes itself.

  • @TenderTrap86 what do you mean by Biblical fundamentalism refutes itself? Can you explain this and provide some example? If you can find me one instance where Jesus advocates tradition, I can give you many where Jesus taught what "was written in the law".

You say the Bible isn't the only source of God's revealed truth, but what is your source to prove this? What is your basis of truth?

  • @jamezbond78 You can google "sola scriptura refuted" and draw your won conclusions.

Early Church documents describe Christianity as being very different from Protestantism and their Puritan off shoots, such as Evangelicalism, Pentacostalism and others.

Read early Church documents and come to one of two choices: Eastern Orthodoxy or Roman Catholicism.

  • @TenderTrap86 - how can you trust early church documents, but you don't trust the Holy Scripture which was written earlier? You either trust the word of God or you don't, you can't have it both ways and pick and choose which verses support your position.

  • @jamezbond78 Yes. Catholics actually do have it both way because there are, in fact, two ways. Some passages are to be taken literally and some are not.

Did you google what I mentioned?

  • @TenderTrap86 - what are the two ways? what is your source of truth to verify these?

  • @jamezbond78 The two ways to interpret the Bible are literally and metaphorically.

The source of truth is the Cathoic Church. Christ, Himself, started the Catholic Church when He gave the Keys Of The Kingdom to Peter, upon Peter's Confession to Him. Peter was the Prince of the Apostles and he and the other Apostles were the first bishops. And, that line of successive bishops hasn't been broken since. It still exists in the Catholic Church, today. Apostolic Succession. Look it up. It's good.

  • @TenderTrap86 - if you base your trust in man, you will be deceived for all men are sinners. Jesus did not start the Catholic Church, this is a lie that you were sold. There is no evidence in the scripture that this is true and even if it were true, the Catholic Church today does not follow the examples of Peter and the apostles in the New Testament - it contradicts them. You can believe your Catholic church and let them tell you what to believe, but I will believe the word of God and reason.

  • @jamezbond78 If you base your trust in the Bible, you *are* placing your trust in man. Who wrote down the words of the Bible? Who compiled the Bible? Those are actual question by the way. Answer.

The Catholic Church does, in fact, follow the example of Christ and His Apostles. It's the only entity in the entire world that is the defender and gaurdian of faith and morals, and has been for 2,000 years. The Catholic Church properly identifies new ideas for what they really are: old mistakes.

  • @TenderTrap86 Some argue that the Bible is only written by man but foolishly they trust and worship men like the Pope. The Catholic Church was established and continued by men. Who wrote the words of the bible? The Catholic Church only claims to have compiled the bible, but they did not write it. The scriptures existed for thousands of years prior, and most of the NT was already written by the turn of the century. The real question is if they compiled it, why don't they follow the teachings?

  • @jamezbond78 Catholics only worship God.

The Bible was written at the turn of which century? And, you don't know that the Old Testament isn't synonmous with the Torah?

The Catholic Church does follow it's teachings. That's the problem with people interpreting the Bible for themselves. Everyone takes away something different. There is no agreement between anybody when they're interpreting the Bible individually. That's why there are 1,000s of Protestant churches and only one Roman Catholic.

  • @TenderTrap86 - sorry I meant most of the NT was written and in circulation by the close of the first century. Anything can be misinterpreted, but to say that only the Catholic Church understands the scriptures is unbiblical and against common sense. If someone can read and understand a Catechism book, why wouldn't they understand a Bible written in their language? I am not a Protestant, but just because there are many different churches, does not mean your church is the best because it has one.

  • @jamezbond78 - "If someone can read and understand a Catechism book, why wouldn't they understand a Bible written in their language?"- Because the Catechism cannot be interpreted. It is, itself, the interpretation.

The Catholic Church believes in what it does about the Bible because of the Apostles. The Catholic faith is Apostolic, one of the four marks of God's Church on Earth. The faith is passed down to us by the Apostles, because they were close friends and followers of Christ.

  • @jamezbond78 That it was on the authority of the Catholic Church that the 27 books were made official at the Councill of Rome in 382 and it was convened by Pope Damasus I. This very fact proves and shows the infallibility (on Faith and Morals) and true teaching magisterium of the Catholic Church. No Protestant faith can claim this or refute this. As such, they have no more authority than those who are not Christian by faith, to properly teach and interpret the Holy Bible.

  • @jamezbond78 "You say the Bible isn't the only source of God's revealed truth, but what is your source to prove this? What is your basis of truth?"

Here it is: "Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." 2 Thessalonians: 14

The apostles did not rely on the Bible, in particular, the New Testament, (since it had not yet been written) to preach the Good News for they taught by word.

  • @cci15 Yes, the apostles were not relying on the NT; they were writing the NT. What kinds of traditions do you think the apostles were teaching? Paul was speaking to the churches to keep the word of God and their teachings, either by hearing it or by their written letters. This does not mean they were teaching contrary to what is written in the NT.

  • @jamezbond78 Who said sanything about the Apostles teaching anything contrary to what WILL be written in the NT. The traditions are what the Church refers to as the Apostolic oral tradition: those teachings and practices which past- and present-day Protestants reject such as confession, praying to the saints and praying for the dead, among other things.

  • @LSAalumni, that's what I thought! :) I also thought, wow, she reminds me so much of my daugther Andréa and how she loves Jesus so much.

  • That's what great about Adoration and Jesus. You could talk to Jesus like He is your friend. He IS your friend. He called His Apostles "friends." So we can certainly talk to Jesus as He is our friend. So note to everyone, go to Adoration and talk to Jesus! He is there to listen. But you also must remember to listen to Him also. Friends talk to each other and it's not a one-sided conversation. Go talk with Jesus in Adoration!!

  • Wow you know, I could not have explained the feeling of knowing about God better than you just put it. Thank you. I've converted to Catholic last year, it answered my longing for religion.

  • @BellatrixxPendz, welcome Home Bella! I'm so glad you became Catholic. Stay strong in the faith. Put on the armor of Christ every day and be prepared for "battle." It's a tough world out there. It's a good thing you're Catholic and have the Sacraments to help you. We need all the grace we can get. I love being Catholic!!

    God bless you.

Peace & Love in Christ. †

    ♥ Sandy

  • @BellatrixxPendz longing for religion? hm, sounds a bit strange to me. Religion doesn't save, salvation is by grace for the disciples and follower of Jesus, who believe in his sacrifice at the cross.

  • I am in RCIA for 2 years and having doubt and am alone, this story was beautiful almost cried.

  • You are not alone :)......Christ assures us that he is with us always, even to the end of the age :)

Doubt is a hard thing, but it is also something which is natural, and which leads to further growth. Even Thomas, the one who heard the voice of Jesus and was an eyewitness to his glory had doubt. It is nothing to be ashamed of. :)

    Hope this helps.

  • @linkabombs, you could ask St. Thomas the Apostle to pray to the Lord our God for you. He also doubted. But look where he is now, up in Heaven and he can pray for you. :)

You are not alone. Hang in there. Keep asking God for the graces you need to pull through. He will never disappoint.

    You are in my prayers.

Peace & Love in Christ. †

    ♥ Sandy
