  • Also, using the cutters on the octopus enough times will cut some of his arms off and make the fight a lot easier.

  • *face-palms at chameleon fight*

the cutters were the ONLY thing I didn't try.

  • I love what you did at 6:22

  • Every single one of the mavericks were pushovers in this game if you knew the weakness or pattern... for pattern, take the chameleon maverick for example. The hyper boomerang does decent damage to it + makes a pattern. And the lion boss, easy. use ice as SOON as he shatters off the other ice coat and BOOM! He can't even attack.

  • @soniclover88888 LOL it's a good thing that the lasts bosses aren't pushovers at all even when you know their weakness, because normal bosses look ridiculous enough when you use their weakness ^^. But a few of them, like Flame Mammoth or Storm Eagle, aren't too easy even with the good weapon :D. And there are all mid-bosses as well.

  • @KevinGraillot Really? I found Storm Eagle to be one of the simplest bosses to beat. In fact, I started my game with him as the easy first boss due to his exploitable pattern of diving down. His "egg" drop was taken care of using charge shot.

In fact, my strategy for this game was Storm Eagle -> Flame Mammoth -> Chill Penguin -> Boomer Kuwanger -> Launch Octopus -> Spark Mandrill -> Armored Armadillo -> Sting Chameleon.

Then again, I might just be crazy.

  • @narutowned You're right, storm eagle is an easy boss but what I meant is, he isn't ridiculously easier when you have the chameleon sting weapon than when you don't have it, to the contrary of spark mandrill for example, who is very easy if you have the Ice Shotgun.

About your boss order, it's quite good if you don't care about having the "speed boots" as soon as possible, but I don't understand why you don't go for spark mandrill after chill penguin :).

  • @KevinGraillot That's because I didn't use the weaknesses for most of these guys. For instance, I used the the buster for Boomer Kuwanger, I didn't use the the boomerang to cut off Launch Octopus' tentacles or beat Sting Chameleon and I used the Shotgun Ice against Armored Armadillo (for it's splash effect against walls). I didn't look up any walkthroughs, so I just thought up my own strategies regardless of type advantage. Your Sigma videos are the only one's I watched.

  • Now again but just with mega blaster

  • dang you went through these bosses and beat them up black and blue!

  • 5:38, i got as far as this boss and died. after i died, i never played this game again because after all the hard work, i just died to some bs boss lol. i was 10 btw last time i played this.

  • Yeah it's quite a hard boss because he can instant kill you and he is very fast when you don't know him. But once you know him enough you can beat him rather easily because he has a repetitive pattern.

But what makes Sigma's Stages more difficult is that when you stop the game in one of them, the password only takes you to the first Stage no matter where you were before. It doesn't help for training on a certain boss lol.

  • Your using a Snes9X right?

  • Yes I'm on this emulator :).

  • @4:49 I love that.. The electronic Elephant sound. I defintely remember that!!!

  • if i am not wrong, the same fish that could swallow is there in duffmcwhalen stage in x5

  • x5 was a garbage if you played all x1-x4.. that mcwhalen s stage is the same with the water level in x2

  • How exactly did you do that really long jump from the wall?

I'm not talking about just in the water, but it seems like whenever I try playing this again I can never jump as far from the wall as you can, do you somehow use the boost to jump or something?

Excellent video anyway, as a kid I could never get past the Spider in Sigma's Fortress.

  • Are you talking about the moment at 4:23 just after Octopus? Anyway, yes you can use the boost on the walls to jump really far, as if you were running on the ground but it's from a wall and a jump. For that you have to press the run button at the same time as the jump button and the direction, when jumping from a wall. This is much easier to do in the next Megaman's X, like the X2, since there you can just maintain the run button and then press the jump button and the direction while on a wall.

  • And also thanks for your compliments, you could go see my playlist of this game on my channel, and about the spider that's true she is quite hard to beat already, because she is quite unpredictable and then you haven't got much time to hit her when she open her red eye.

  • Great use of tatic.

  • lol @ sting chameleon (or whatever his name is) he didn't have a chance!

  • lol you owned sting chameleon. nice

  • nice moves man.. i miss playingthis game

  • Sigma has one fucking ugly dog.

  • you did kill Launch Octopus by his weakness?

    Flame Mammoth too,

  • Yes it's their weakness - Rolling shield & Storm tornado -

  • well, if i was u, ima use the Horn boomerang with nthe Octopuc for hit him the tentacles and kill him very easy

  • Yeah but i have two problems with this tactic : 1) I touch him more easily when he just jump out of his tornado, and 2) It takes at least three bmrngs to cut his tentacles which takes long, and anyway he keep on firing missiles which is what gives me problems to hit him

  • if that's an emu

then you have 1337 keyboard skillz

  • haha spark mandrill didnt even move from whre he was standing..youre very good

  • not bad
