This song makes me think of someone drowning at sea in a storm and being saved by mermaids by being turned into one of them. "fight, for this is your last chance" "with our blood we've awakened you" "you will always be a child of the blue" seem to be the mermaids talking at that point.
i downloaded a version of this song years ago with a male singing the verses with lisa singing the chorus. problem is i have it on a dvd but no idea how to upload it. ive never done it before. i think it was back in 2000 that i found it. was a great version.

The other version is a duet (still with the woman singing most of the song, though). I just find it much more beautiful... but sadly no one's seemed to uploaded it... *sigh*
I know what you are talking about, and I am searching that exact version of the song. It is the same song, but with a darker feeling and male vocals mixed. I think it might be a remix but I can't find it anywhere. If someone knows about it, please inform us :P
