there aren't 40 characters in brawl unless you count the non playable ones but there are actually about 35 playable characters

accully some times online does lag once a two minite brawl was 10 minites

Yeah, I've noticed this happens to some people. But ultimately, if you've got a rock solid internet connection there's never lag... Unless you play people from far away. For me, it took about 1,000 miles before I saw lag in my tests! And even at that distance, it was still minimal.
