  • is it 4wd?

  • This isn't an Inferno GT2!!!!

  • where did you get this cooling fan from?

  • Why are your back tires all ripped up???

  • Ever consider what a Micro Turbo supercharger would do? Not saying it needs the power. Considering it has actual poppet valves and a turbo could build positive manifold pressure without evacuating the entire combustion chamber before the compression cycle, I figure itd be interesting to see. Nice job!

  • awsomeeee

    !!!!!

  • those tires must have torn apart.

  • ALMOST sounds like a chainsaw.

  • 4 stroke rc engine??!!!OMG!

  • hoe much did u pay for it ????

  • What size engine do you have in that beast?

  • ive been wanting to do something like this on my traxxas rustler since ive made the 3.3 conversion and been looking for more power. i just need to learn a little more about the setup.

  • Thats mark not mar

  • Hik have you ever thought of selling these cars as i would buy 1 today.

    cheers

    mar

  • whats the difference in the four stroke engine any faster

  • all 4 stroke engines in anything have more tourqe than 2 stroke

  • Nice! How are the 4 strokes on reliability and power compared to the 2?

  • I also have the exhaust headers welded in place to keep that from falling apart. It's expensive, but very worth it to know everything's going to stay put during a long race.

  • I had some port plugs machined, then after inserting and bonding them in place, I take the heads to a CNC machinist to have the new port and fastener holes drilled and tapped in the side of the head. I also had special intake manifolds and carb adapters made to match that will work with any 1/10th scale carburetor.

It does need a cooling fan, otherwise it overheats the valve springs and ring, causing them to lose tension (bad).

  • How did you change the carburetor location? Does it have to have a cooling fan I've always wanted to put one of those rb concepts superchargers on one of these.

  • sounds like 2 stroke..maybe your exhaust..

  • sounds nothing like a 2 stroke..

  • I love these trucks, i have 4 of them. That is a badass ride!

  • wow i really like the way you made the cooling fan

  • have you tried the Fs 52 valve springs ?..

they're the same diameter outside and inside as the 26 but they're 14mm vs 12mm for the 26 cx?

  • Nice conversion but too pricey...good luck.

  • Thanks. I will have some more race footage to upload soon! 2009 was a much better year for me in Wenatchee - I took 2nd place in one of the most exciting race finishes I've ever had the pleasure of being part of!

  • Dude, this is soooo nice. I have read your 4-stroke Revo thread a dozen times. I have a 52 in the garage and a t-maxx that begs to hold it. Even if just for a tank or 2. I may play with it this summer. If I ever get in to the GT2 scene, I will be looking you up for a kit. ;-) You are top knotch, no doubt.

  • Yes, you can buy the truck and engine at any hobby shop. The kit to make it all fit together is on Ebay. Search for "Thump RC" and you'll find it.

  • hi did you but the car and the coms with it thanks

  • About 40 MPH on open pavement. Check my other videos to see it on a race track.

  • how fast does it go ?
