I consider it house dance, its a variant of footworking, just not as smooth as regular house dance its faster, and uses much of the same foot work moves.

I would like to learn chicago house dance but no one around to teach it anymore in the smaller major towns of indiana, and everyone that tries to teach me house dance is not there long enough for me to even learn more then the basics, and the urban chi town is too dangerous to go there now all the latin gangs and all.

Nope, don't get it. If anyone can enlighten me I'd love to know what the point is. Also, the music is... Difficult to understand. Is it just because it's good for this type of dancing? and which came first, the dance or the music? Or is it that they've fed into each other? Is there a reason why the sound is a bit empty, there doesn't seem to be much to it. Do the tracks have any sort of progression, or does it just have loop followed by loop?

Not a south-sider, so I can't speak on the dance itself... but as for the music, juke/booty house has its history as an offshoot of the early house movement in Chicago. It's a minimal form of house, pretty much relying only on the Roland 808 bass and 909 drum machines. That's why it sounds "empty;" it's pretty bare-bones, and a basic 4-4 loop.

The two evolved independently toward late 80's/early 90's, probably earlier for the dance.

You can't. Legally, anyway. Can't get much of any of Slugo's stuff online legally; there's a long-standing issue over who actually owns the Dance Mania label (and it's P&D rights), and so digital/mp3 rights are questionable at best.

For his newer stuff that he released as Dance Mania Digital, I'm unaware if it's still in distribution. In general, juke/booty house and ghetto tech are very niche, so it's hard to keep a label on Beatport et al. Soulseek might be your only choice
