im a new actor on the scene , I have done a couple background jobs and i know how the stage and sets work. im 45 but look 30 i keep in shape and Love telling stories and watching movies and people! So my resume is very green to say the least but as i say im just starting out, but i plan to get my headshots ,commercial and improv and audition classes ,also a really good slate. my goal is to always listen and learn and react and be the best actor i can be ! need representation

Whether you are 13 or 27, you are never too old or too young to start acting. However the challenges unique to your age can give you some frustration. At 27 you will have to juggle around your job or life and find the time to fit it in. Good luck. My office is in Toronto.

Just persist and see if you can join a school play where it won't cost money. Your parents will see you are committed and then they might be willing to pay for more expensive things. Good luck!

Unless a tv show or movie is being shot there, there won't be any. If you want to act, you must continue to look for plays and theater locally, or maybe someone who does film shorts and needs some actors for that. Is there a film studies department at a college nearby. You have to get creative to keep your dream alive as a film actor.

Because of your course, I've built up enough courage to do this. I'm taking Theater Arts at my high school and I'm going to sign up to be in a play at my local theater.

It was hard at first because some of my friends poked fun at me because I want to be an actor, because I've wanted to be in the military over the past few years. I'll show them one day. I'll become famous one day and they'll all feel like idiots.

You are going to have to calmly explain to them why you want to do this. If they still will not let you then you are going to have to trust their judgment, obey their wishes, and be patient. Remember to ask them again when you are a little older. Once they see you haven't given up they may reconsider.  Good luck.

I Love Heather's voice, so beautiful. I've been trying to get into acting since I was about 19, and yes, the training is pretty much what is needed, along with the money ofcourse for the classes/headshots, etc. I fell off my course of breaking it into the Biz, thanks to financial set back and wasnt able to get into the schools I wanted or headshots that I needed. Im 22 now and thinking about getting back again, possibly. But, just wanted to say that Heather's voice is SEXY lol and cool courses!

How do you know if you are any good ?

Try acting around friends or family who will give you some friendly feedback. If they think you have some talent then try acting in a play or local theatre. If the audience and/or the other actors think you're any good, they will want to work/see with you again. Remember take small and yet steady steps in the direction of your dreams.
