Actually, if you're a singer anything that can cause stress can effect your voice. It happened to Shania Twain, she talked about it on Oprah. She had a breakdown after her husband left her for her best friend, and she literally lost her voice. Even me, a little over a year ago, I was going through a lot in my life, and I had an upcoming recital to perform at, and I was so stressed that you could hear the strain in my voice.

The biggest problem with her voice is that she drinks too much. Alcohol dries the throat and affects your upper register. Hopefully she will stop drinking now that she has children.

Nick even said so in the interview where they inicially announced her pregnancy with the twins. stop trying to make it like that couldn't afect her voice

Actually, if you're a singer anything that can cause stress can effect your voice. It happened to Shania Twain, she talked about it on Oprah. She had a breakdown after her husband left her for her best friend, and she literally lost her voice. Even me, a little over a year ago, I was going through a lot in my life, and I had an upcoming recital to perform at, and I was so stressed that you could hear the strain in my voice.

I think we all know well that she has "it" there in her, but all she needs is a good vocal rest. I think her vocal cords are delicate ones.
She used to flow on notes in her 5 ranges with her nodule, but the fact is that nodule has grown larger through years. This makes her voice clearly separate from range to range now and makes the voice out of control somehow or even husky.
