  • What is part two about? Don't remember seen it

  • I remember seeing this on TV as a kid and I started crying when Alice's parents couldn't see her in the mirror. I didn't understand that there was a 2nd part so I thought that was the end, lol. My Mom was consoling me for hours, lol.

  • Out of all the versions I've seen of Alice in Wonderland, I like this 1985 version best. It seems that a lot of things were better in the 80's than now.

  • james rolf brought me here

  • this is my frist time watching this and when the dragon thing scene came up it was not scare me at all bat to a little kid I know it that will scare tham

  • we are doing the very first stage performence of this, and I play Alice!! :D taking in notes from this :P

  • This wonderland is the best. I love Alice's character. In the original novel she was a tad bit annoying & overly talkitive. but still adorable. .Like this little actress. Best alice ever.

  • Wow What An Incredible Cast!!, Shame So Many Have Left Us.

  • that gave me nightmares 4 a whole week, until they screened part 2

  • @jordan1650 you do have a point.

  • Disney should make a classical animated movie of Alice Through the Looking Glass.

  • I remember this asw a little girl I was so excited to see it uploaded on youtube thanks so much!

  • @digigirl411 From what I heard Heather O'Rourke scored the part but her parents and her agent turned it down cause of money issues as you have described, so Natalie Gregory had to fill in - but they had to give her a blond wig as her natural hair colour was close to brown.

  • Natalie PWNS at being Alice. Honestly, I can't hate that adorable Alice. Makes you want to sit next to her and listen to her read Jabberwocky and Father William for hours on end - then finish off with a game of croquet.

  • Hm...anyone else seen the Cinemassacre review of this movie?

I was expecting to see the Jabberwocky scene at the end of the first part and leave it on a cliff-hanger like he said it did when he saw it.

It probably would've been a lot more affective. And now I'm just wondering; did he lie about that, was he mistaken or is there some unedited version that showed it as such?

  • Where's the version when Alice performs various unbelievable feats using a

filthy golf ball and her bodily cavities?

  • I like the Jabberwocky poem.

  • omg i was looking for that movie for yeaars!

brings back so much memories :')

    thanks so much for uploading!

  • Oh when I first saw this movie i would always want to go to wonderland it looked like so much fun to me.

  • I saw this movie when I am guessing I was around 8 or 9 and it scared me I remember having nightmares. I am 30 now I have been searching for this movie for years and I would just like to say it was the best Alice in Wonderland movie that I have seen. I hated the new one.

  • I've never seen this version before.

  • This movie was actually one two movies that Natalie Gregory was best known for starring in, the other was Disney's 1988 animated feature "Oliver & Company", in which she voiced the little girl Jenny.

I wonder if I'm the only person here who knows that?

  • @vnisanianisback She was also in Cranium Command as the girl in the chem lab. I know from seeing someone else blow something up in a chemistry lab in front of your prospective girlfriend isn't a good idea.

  • Natalie replaced Heather O'Rourke "sigh" she would have been perfect for this role. Heather actually won the part though, than changed her mind later. But I still love this movie, it scared the hell out of me when I was a kids. LOL.

  • lol at carol channing when she got carried XD

  • i can't help it .......this is sooooo part of my childhood this is what I grew up with and through the abuse and every thing else "Alice" and other childhood "friends" keep me sane......Thank you so very much for something to "cling" to in a time of "need".

  • I didn't know John Stamos was in this movie.

  • "Mind the tornado!" LOL

  • now what would have been creepy (and in keeping with the whole caroll bizarreness) would be if she saw HERSELF with her parents on the other side of the mirror.

  • I love this sooo much ti brings back memories for my family. My parents would play this for the kids around the hoildays to keep us busy lol.And I bought on dvd so that one day when i have kids i can keep them busy lol

  • OMG, I can vaaaagggguely remember this from when I was a kid. The dragon always stuck with and didn't what that was because I'd only seen bits and pieces of the Disney cartoon. People gave me a puzzled look when mentioned seeing a dragon in Alice. - say is that the little girl from Poltergeist series?

  • alice mom is a bitch

  • im to scard to sleep 0_0

  • .R.I.P. NATALIE GREGORY nah just playing with you OR AM I!no OR MABYE NOT!no!

  • Oh my god, I only ever saw the original, haha, this is good!

  • jabberwocky is not scary its so fake!

  • @sgaevan1567 Back then, the Jabberwocky was probably REALLY creepy...

  • This is a really great flim but it's really strange how she wakes up from one dream and she still is dreaming? :)

  • @TheMagicFantasyFan It don't think she did really wake up from the first dream in this version. In the original TV production, they had the last part of Wonderland end with the Jabberwocky appearing and a big TO BE CONTINUED at the bottom. On the other hand since they do have her physically go to Wonderland and then physically climb out of the mirror, its also somewhat suggested its wasn't really a dream. o.o;

  • @TheMagicFantasyFan Inception :)

  • Tthese are great. thank you, thank you! Both Alice in Wonderland and Though the Looking Glass. I think that I wacthed these with my small children in 1986 or 1987 on CBS. Even though it says on wiki, it was released much earlier on PBS... I, as well as my grown children with their young families will watch these over and over again!

  • can someone tell me why they didn't do the disney cartoon of alice in wonderland to Through the Looking Glass disney cartoon aswell???

  • @floralauraproactive Because they mixed both books into one. For example, you'll recall Alice meeting Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in the animated movie? That comes from the second book!

  • @floralauraproactive I agree Disney should make an Alice in Wonderland two because there making two of everything these days.

  • I remember this!!! OMG I was always terrified of this. Even years later!

  • The Jabberwocky is so fake!

  • @Jobbaj

Yes, true, but to a little kid it's scary as hell

  • isn't the jabberwocky in the new one by tim burtin?

  • ...and the Jabberwocky as Himself.

  • Interesting...When she is on the "wrong side" of the mirror, she tries to go up the stairs from the right going up to the left of the screen, yet in the last scene (part 10) when she is on the "right " side of the mirror she still goes up from the right to the left side of the screen. Shouldn't they have reversed the picture in this scene?? You know, inverse the image on the film and show it that way???

  • I completely forgot this was a musical. All I really remembered was the Jabberwoky.

I'm relieved I wasn't the only kid who found it scary.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • This is the first version that I saw when I was a kid and I still love it.

  • this is the same house front they use in the movie "Beaches" for "Hillary's" house

  • I love old movies and books! :)

  • @celestexxwolf Ditto I LOVE older movies especially the black and white goodies of long since gone days and love old books for their smell...I know...I'm..strange then most for the smell thing lol

  • Love this movie.

Although I always thought the Jabberwock poem wasn't really a poem at all, more like some sort of magic spell.

  • @DorkTheNerdInvader1 It always struck me as odd too especially since one had to read it in the mirror to see the poem...who goes through that much trouble for a poem and not an incantation? XD

  • I found this great movie in full lenght and for free at:

watch CD last CD movies . coooooom (remo ve CD's)

  • I loved this so much when I saw it, as a child. But is scared me. Delicious.

  • I completely forgot Jon Stamos is in part 2! I feel 10 years old again, childhood fave, thanks for this upload!

  • What an opening. :)

  • I am 15 years old, and the Jabberwocky still scares the hell out of me!

  • masterpiece! i have never seen this before, this is a very dramatic scene, looking diferent things in the other side of the mirror... seems better to me than alice in wonderland... despite of the chessy effects...

  • @ketermedia love the old movie cheese! looooove it! O_O

  • Oh thank you so much for uploading this!!!!! This used to be my favorite movie.I would rent it almost everytime I went to the video store but I was really sad when our video store closed down and I never could find it anywhere else until today. Thanks soooo much : D

  • i remember this movie when i was young it is old!!!!! but good i love the message behind the movie

  • I loved the first and this one. These are the first versions I've seen that have actually tried to stick with the book.

  • @JustAPrayer I can honestly say besides this adaption of Alice and the newest adaption of the christmas carol (2009) not many movies go to such extremes to stick to the book.

  • @BardandQueen I know. That;s why when they do it's so refreshing.

  • AHHHH!!!! JABBERWOCKY!!!!

  • Had the first one on tape, but there was no intervil at the end so it got to the point where she's screaming at the Jabberwoky and then it ended. I must have watched this movie hundreds of times, and never seen the 2nd series of events until 10 years later..

  • It's been years since I've seen this movie yet it's amazing how vividly the jabberwocky still comes to mind. Thanks so much for the upload! This part used to scare the crap out of me when I was little.

  • @TemporaryButterfly this scene and the spider scene when she gets caught in the web.. holy crap that still freaks me out e.e;;;;

  • Thankyou so much for uploading this, have been looking for years!! It is a childhood fave, and much better than the current johnny depp rubbish,

  • @pinksweetieaus tim burton will be forgiven by me since i do love his work despite 'creative licensing' that occurs with that movie. I do enjoy the fact that hatter was used more in his movie despite that the poor man barely makes it to two if not three scenes in both books xD!!

  • @pinksweetieaus each alice in wonderland has its own amazing aspects... johnny depp did a good job portraying the mad hatter.

  • she looks like my mam's friend daughter exsept shes called emily and she has brown hair

  • Thanks so much, I watched this as a young child, *was born in 1985* and it was a favorite of mine. And even now, 25 years later that Jabberwocky still creeps me out. I used to cry at that part :P

  • @Snowman20 I was just three when i seen this literally just turned three in november and this came out in decemeber of that year. The dragon scared the hell out of me lol Also I think this is why I am wary of spiders since that web scene o.o;;;;

  • @Snowman20 Dude I was super freaked out by this ... i was born in 1987 and it actually took me awhile to find this movie again >.<

  • I remember the jabberwocky... O_O No point in trying to sleep tonight...

  • @Bobzeaux HAHAHA I know exactly what your talking about

  • @Bobzeaux in the words of bart simpson "cant sleep clown will eat me" just modify to ..can't sleep dragon will eat me O_O;

  • oh thank you so much for this I've been wanting to see this movie thank you!

  • that dragon thing probably scared the HELL out of me as a kid. lol

  • omg u no the jaberwoki poem well i remember reading it in primary school and in the new alice in wonderland ( i went to go see it today) she has to kill the jaberwoki

  • I loved it and I'm so glad, that I found it on youtube. Thanks so much!

  • I remember watching this version as a child. It's the most faithful adaptation of the book. I liked the original Disney version (1951), but I enjoyed this one even more! Thank you for uploading it! :)

  • I enjoyed the disney one as well because it opened the door for further adaptions of the movie. 51 good year ^.^ and though i ADORED the plush toys of the cheshire and hatter i adored this version even more so. However with the 'year of the alice' this year we got to see coming out was syfy's alice which I actually loved O_O and tim burton's alice. Rock on alice ..rock on even after even after 145 years the story still rocks the socks of many generations!

  • thank you! this is a childhood memory...

  • poor alice... what did that girl do 2 deserve all the crap in wonderland 4!?

  • ahh thank you! i just love this movie! :)

  • ahhhh Jabberwoky!! *hides* this shit skurred me as a kid about as much as Return to Oz did lol

  • I know! Jabberjaws scared the shit out of me as a kid as well but now i see the details to let me know it is a guy in a suit. XD but the spider part still freaks me out e.e;;;;

  • this is so nostalgic for me! I was 6 when this originally aired. I remember being so engrossed in it.

  • holy shit I've been looking for THIS movie online. Thank You for posting!!

  • is this the beginning of alice's adventure before alice in wonderland or the other movie that is also called alice through the looking glass?

  • haha i remember this when i was oh so young..now im 25 and i still love it :)

  • I havent been watching this movie in 18 years and im 25

  • Okay, that's way way too many opening credits.

  • and yet you hanged in there all the same XD

  • @AmadeusKing Every big name characters appeared in these series.

  • This is like the Mickey Mouse cartoon Thru the mirror?.

  • she's so cute *-*

  • i member when i was little this movie kinda creeped me out a lilttle

  • the mirror image is all messed up.. its not an actual mirror image.... :D I never noticed that before.

Thanks so much for putting this up.. I saw it when i was maybe 3.. and watching it is giving me weird deja vu lol

  • awe man this takes me back and I LOVE IT! Thanks so much for posting :o)

  • the Jabberwocky used to scare me when i was little

    what a great costume!!

  • @battousaiblade agreed. If you watch the Jabberwocky scene with all of the Wonderland characters in it you will notice the Jabberwocky also breathes fire (flame thrower FTW)

  • @er10b i know! its awesome

  • Thanks for posting this. I was looking for this version and couldn't find it anywhere. :)

  • Thanks for putting this up. I've been looking for it.
