UW Chamber Singers sing Eric Barnum's "Afternoon On a Hill"

I'm an instrumentalist in my college's concert choir... we sang this piece this semester and since have been dying to hear a good recording of it. This one is particularly fantastic. I wish the sound quality were better, but I can deal with it :)

I did this in middle school! It was so much fun but, it was an all girl's ensemble and it was middle school. Ugh. I love the added mens' parts, though. Very lovely. I'm now in high school and in Women's Concert Ensemble. This is seriously great.

they did the rise part wrong at 2:50 your suppose to rise with the note when you hit it and at 3:10 they started to loud so they had nowhere to go up at the cresendo

Everyone should be jealous ;-). I recently found out Eric Barnum will be taking one over direction of our University and Women's choirs at UW-Oshkosh. We are crazy lucky to have him. This is a beautiful performance of a wonderful song!
