I always call kicker and ask them, more often when im trying to match subs with amps and wire sizes

hey. i wonder if you know what kind of subs i can use with this amp?, i use 2x 10" subs now, 500rms x2. and if this amp can be used to something thats better? it plays good with the 10", but want it louder and harder.

hey! my kicker zx1000 has its lights on on protection mode and my bass doesnt work. do you have any idea on whats causing the problem? please let me know how to make it work again. thanks!

can this amp be wired down to 1 ohm safely? i have a kicker cvx 15 and i have it on my kicker kx1200.1 wired to 1 ohm but im selling it tomarrow and buying this exact amp. reason for selling the kicker kx1200.1 is that im getting 50 more dollars for it than i paid for it lol

I just oreded that amp for my L5"s i got and there giving me that amp fuse holder why do u need that when i got a 100A amp fuse for my battary power cable?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think its meant for the extra battery that they recommend you to use

get the dual 4ohm version and wire it down to 2ohms to get the full power from the amp. I own a kicker zx1000.1 and a Kicker CVX D4.

@ronaldhotboyboyhotr l7 4 ohm you can wire down to 2 ohms 2 match your amp at 2oms

@tha1Gemini24 Yea thats what I done, but I had WAY too much air space though!

I kind of blew it a little because of that, I think the min was 1.5 and the max air space was 6cubic ft., so i decied to cut it down the middle, after 2 months, it started to burn, called a representative, told me that the minimum air space was the way to go (1.5)

@ronaldhotboyboyhotr That amp puts out 1000W at 2ohm. so you would want to get a 4ohm sub and wire the voice coils in parallel to get a 2ohm load.

cool man you'll like that amp! it'll power that l7 really nice.. is that box ported or sealed? im assuming sealed? what size cubic feet wise is it? and your 4 gauge wire is just fine for running that one 15. it should sound real nice in there...
