Baby cries are always different. While my baby sister was in hospital, I could recognise the sound of her crying amonst those of all the other babies.

It cries "without a reason" for days, weeks, months, untill the consciousness has lost it´s power, be it through natural processes or the influence of parents and these days even medication... That is when the human is truly born, after they forget who they are, where they are, some forget faster than others. The Soul itself is not the one crying (it is unfamiliar with these functions in it´s original state) yet the impulses it gives makes the body cry.

The first thing a baby does when born is cry.
It does so because the Soul is conscious of what it has been born into and is in a state of disbelief(you are more conscious of what you are and where you are during/right after birth than you are now). The Soul makes the body cry because it is the first time it came to this physical realm (although this is a very limited number) or because it realises it has returned through reincarnation, after
failing in the former life (which is the majority).
You did a good job learning theories in books. But people who live in Buddhist countries are still happy the moment a baby is born, regardless of that being coming back into samsara. Why? Besides being completely natural to be in love with a brand new baby, our human births are an extraordinary opportunity! Also, by your theory, those beings who reincarnate on purpose would not cry. . do you think the Dalai Lama didn't cry at his birth because he chose it? I bet the DL cried, too. . :)
First of all, no soul wants to come back to this realm. This is a prison. Your body is a prison. That's the bottom line. Imagine that reality is the internet. That's the world you know and see. The computer you use to view the internet is your body. You are using the computer (the body) to experience this dimension. But many people have forgotten their soul is behind the computer. Upon realizing this, you view life as only a short experience in your existance and that it is a punishment.
I agree when you say that the body is a prison. of course! your computer analogy is just a description of the ignorance of samsara.
But all of these concepts cut both ways--they are neither uniformly positive or negative (as you see them).
For example, the only way to escape the prison of samsara is through human birth. So when you acquire a precious human body you are lucky (or maybe you deserved it!). Otherwise you can never get out.
The only way to escape the prison is to use the tools that were given to you when you entered the prison.
I prefer we had a debate through Private Messages. Almost all of the people that read my messages are not ready for this type of information. They are afraid. That would explain the 'thumbs down' I get. Let them save themselves.
Only humans can use these tools. Dogs, ants, hungry ghosts, those in the hell realm-- whatever you believe these to be-- they cannot make the necessary changes to save themselves. Human birth is the only birth that is equipped with the tools you speak of. So a human birth can be seen as very happy thing . I agree with what you are saying, but I am trying to present the positive side. Boddhisattvas take human birth on purpose in order to help others! It is a most powerful incarnation.
I will be very happy when I have kids. Of course every normal person would be happy. And I get what you are saying. Divine Law has given you a chance to 'correct' yourself and become enlightened even though you have failed. For that we must be thankful. And we must use all the tools we have to better ourselves and deserve eternal peace. There is a realm much worse than Earth and our prison (the body). So I see what you are saying. We must be happy we are given another chance.
