I live in San Diego, and honestly, once you're there for a long time (like living there) you get really bored. The beaches and surf are good (I surf, I know, most girls don't), and the weather is good. But I get bored easily.

I don't know if that question was directed to me but yes I've been to all of the continuous states and numerous other territories throughout the world. Southern Cal. not a favorite of mine but Lake Tahoe and San Fran were exceptional!
