Boy this is crazy, back in 1996-98 i looked a lot like Steve Strange in my Romo days in Osborne, wow. Even the jacket, this is so cool, i wish i had that much hair like i used to.
so what if commoners didn't buy this album ,does sales of an album qualifies how good it is? that is rather naive ,i mean spice girls sold a lot of albums too need i say more ?
i love this song it is unique ,artistic and represents a magical era
He WAS handsome - 25 years ago. I loved his image. Mind you, without all this excessive make-up and fancy New Romantic clothes, Steve probably looked rather average.
And sadly he's not so intriguing any more...
Steve had a bad drug problem and is barely coherent these days. Please see a BBC documentary 'Whatever Happened To The Gender Benders' currently on youtube.
Yep, it was well and truly over the minute the band (Ure, Adamson, et al) walked out. I remember this album hitting the shops and no one buying it. Totally shite! ; )
@djbethell I thought most if it was awful but there's one fantastic track on it Can You Hear Me - beautiful long ethereal electronic intro and the one example on the album of the stuff he should've carried on doing
That's so true, ultravox say's it all, hit after hit. and the 3rd visage LP beat boy was a flop, no ure or currie to help on that album...Shame really but i guess midge needed his time in the spot light as any musician would...
Hurray for the choreography! ;D

Yes, 'Beat Boy' in general is dreadful dance record without much substance.

I love Visage, but I would be the first to say, they were nothing without Midge Ure, and Billy Currie!
