You wouldn't make it 2.5 miles down.....you would implode. The pressure down there per square inch is crazy.  A pin hole leak in a sub would cause it to implode instantaneous!

Very sad video. It was no ones fault. We all make mistakes, some that can effect the history of time. May all of those souls rest in peace that died that night. 96 years ago today 2200 people were fast asleep in there warm beds on the Titanic, thinking, in just a few days, they would arrive in America.

i heard that people rode exercise bicycles to pass the sinking of the ship by..i would be getting my azz on a life boat instead of getting in shape during the sinking...i'd be terrified to waste valuable time like that.(not talking bad about the people on the titanic or anything,just saying).

To pass the sinking was/or could the other thing. The second could be that, if you exercise, you get warmed up, and you won't freeze alot, like if you were on the water.

Titanic might not ave sunk like that - that's just a theory of how people thought it sank. Maybe you should ask people who lived through it...

It's too bad this great ship sank. I blame the whole thing on the person or persons controlling the ship's speed. It should have been traveling a lot slower if icebergs were in the area. I mean if you were driving a speedboat and you knew that there were a lot of buoys in the area you would probably slow down to avoid damaging your boat. This accident occured because they couldn't control the boat at those speeds.

There wasn't one universal person in charge of speed... but First Officer William Murdoch made a mistake by stopping and reversing the engines. The faster a ship is going, the faster a ship can turn, and judging by how narrowly the Titanic hit the berg, she might have surpassed it had it not been for the blasted engines being reversed. Another option is, most people think less damage would have occured if she had hit the berg straight on.

I'm sick of this song for these movies. It would be a better choice to have used "Nearer My God to Thee" or "Alexander's Ragtime Band" or a hymn or "Songe d'Automne" or even a tribute sing written after the sinking!!!
