I wonder how secure it is ! Back in Miami, i got my bicycle stolen ... it was a unique bicycle ... i loved it ... and someone took it from me !!!! that was 10 years ago, and never got another one. I think its time to shop for a new one, with chains : )

A bike needs: A break, 2 Wheels and a steering.. and a + is lights.. thats all...

@zozolelapin01 Yeah many bikes in The Netherlands are stolen. That's why most people have a crappy looking bike that just does the job. Not very fancy or anything.

Is it just me, or do all the bikes look the same (the handlebars at least)? How do you know which one is yours?

Trust me on this. After owning the same bike for a month or so, putting some accessories and some scrathes and all, you can identfy your bike out of a thousand easily.

And on top of that, you remember the approximate location of the bike when you leave it.

With two bikes side by side, same make and same model, you can still tell the difference.

Yes I like to stay, If I can, in a Hotel right next to Vondel park. It's called of all things The Hotel Quentin England I'm not kidding. I try and stay south of the city center as much as possible. Im not found of my countryman in europe, they give travel a bad name ;) I'm not a tourist I'm a traveler.

I stayed in a place alled 'the canal house' hehehhee all the houses are on or near canals so not original, but it had a beautiful garden at the back where you could sit and eat breakfast, got to love the ham and cheese breakfasts xxx hugs xxx
