you don't need to be rich to buy a plane to build. just buy the parts one at a time. by the time you have to pay for the next section you have spent so much time building that part you can pay for the next

It took me about 2002 hours spanning a 3 year period. I've invested about 25K.I had to sell him last year to a pilot who flew him to Rhode Island.
