Stop this madness...The kid should not be making decisions before puberty...These parents are really disgusting...They have a gay boy, but refuse to embrace that because they don't know any gays...What a mistake this is....

I can't believe she's so mature for her age. I feel a bit sad, because going through this process will make you grow up before any child should have to. But she seems so strong, and very beautiful. I don't see how anyone could mistake her for a boy. There's just no masculinity there.
@BenjiBohemian Being transgender is not easy. Its a lifetime of struggle but if you surround yourself with good people then it just makes it easier to cope with the daily struggles. The earlier in life you can start transitioning, the easier it will be to fit in as a teenager and young adult. I started transitioning at the age of 37 after countless attempts to play my biological role.
*sigh* i support her soo much and shes clearly a girl, but when she gets older how is she suppossed to deal with this? not only is she gonna develop a boy but when she gets to middle school she has to change for gym?? and shes gonna wanna date and have a boyfriend, but come on lets be real, what boy (no matter how nice) is gonna date a girl with a dick?
@MackenzieGirl15 I am sure that her sexual orientation has been well established, that is something that is between her, her family and her future lover. We have NO right to tell another human being to fall in love with a boy (as a girl) or a girl (as a boy). As far as middle school and gym, well I am sure she will have the support of the faculty and friends. Its important to treat transgender kids how they perceive themselves.
I watched this when it first aired with my mom and older brother,it was cool too see my brother watch it and understand it better since his sister is just like jazz ^_^ and my family accepts me and loves me
