  • This doesn't work for me. i drag and drop files using windows explorer they are mp4 format but when i go to my videos it says no video is saved. it is frustrating

  • @Product1999 Sorry to hear that. Are you talking about on the phone or the SD card?

  • how do you put movies on the card???

  • @dublehlx Just like when you are puttnig music on an iPod, you must hook it up to the computer. Open the folders that contain your phone and you will see a "video" section in the folder. Choose your movie and drag it into the folder. After that, disconnect the phone from the computer and watch the movies!

  • OMGGG KATHY GRIFFIN! I <3 HER

  • ok thanks for the overview.

  • How is the movie quality when u put it in full screen and which do u think is personally better the envtouch or the samsung rogue??I have to choose which phone i want before the end of nxt wk.

  • @dogman683 They are pretty close, the Rogue's screen will be a little better because it is AMOLED and it won't chew through the battery as fast as the enVTouch on thge other hand, The enVTouch's form factor is nice for watching movies because it opens and sits up by itself and has stereo sound when opened.

  • can you plug it into itunes? i got alot of shows/movies on itunes

  • @gamerfan26 Not really. iTunes are specific to Apple products. Their products are DRM protected which keeps you from playing them on other devices. They did have an option a while back so you could buy the songs DRM free and then you could play them on anything. I'm not sure if that's still the case or not. Rhapsody is cool because you can listen to unlimited music for $14.99 a month. You can't beat that. Unless you like to actually have them downloaded.

  • @WirelessZone

you are wrong, if you want to add itunes music on to the phone itself or a microsd just go into program files and click on itunes. There you will find a folder of all the mp3's. Copy and paste those directly on to your phone or on a microsd, it will ask you to convert to mp4, then just do that and walla it is added to "my music" on the phone

  • @TheEdswarnok Well then thanks for the heads up. I'll have to try it out.

  • how do u get vids on it?

  • @sjajm There are two videos posted on this... Part 1 is Watch movies on your LG Dare VX9700

then watch Put Movies on the LG Dare VX9700 Part 2 You can do this on any phone. Some models vary.

  • You can put MOVIES ON THAT PHONE!!!!!!!!! or you have to buy it. how do you put movies on it

  • @TheBinhbinh Watch the two videos I posted on putting movies on your phone. I put them on the LG Dare but it works the same on all feature phones.

  • There are two parts to this... Part 1 is Watch movies on your LG Dare VX9700 then watch Put Movies on the LG Dare VX9700 Part 2 You can do this on any phone. Some models vary.

  • how do u get the movies on to ur phone?

  • how do u set the my videos to the card and not phone vids that ive recorded

  • lol they copied ma name!

  • well honestly it would prolly b better 2 watch it with the phone open...heres my reasoning...u could not open the phone all the way so u can open it up 2 adjust 2 the angle of the screen cuz it dosnt exactly snap shut or snap open an the put the phone on the tray in the chair in front of u haha hope i helped :D

  • Definitely watch with the flip open-there's stereo sound that way and you can stand it up instead of having to prop it up.

  • do get movies from your computer?

  • Yes, that's how I get them onto the phone.

  • hey if you guys need help on putting ringtones on the enV thouch then go to my channel and its my latest video and you dont have to download anything

  • uhh i have a 8GB microsd and im not waisting it on movies cause it'll drain ur batteries in an hour

  • this video is bullshit

  • your from the mid west arent you....wireless zone?

  • New England

  • uploaded on my bday

  • can u put the env3 not the touch but the normal one in airplane mode

  • what format does it have to b

  • 1:40 THATS WHAT SHE SAID!

  • Arrgh. Bought a new LG phone, first problem I found is finding a free video converter. All the ones on downloaddotcom suck and are trials. I will pay for a great vc as long as I know it works, which brings me to my second problem. The phone isnt showing/recognizing the mp4 sample on Media Center>My Videos. What am I doing wrong!?

  • Doohh, Im a retard, put the movie in the wrong folder. got it working. Still would like input on the best video converter!

  • I like magic DVD Ripper. There's a free trial on the website or you can buy it for about $35

  • AVS Video Converter is best...converts to ALL formats.

  • It should have no problem reading an MP4, maybe the file is corrupt.

  • Do any of you experience lag while watching movies? I cannot watch even a 160 MB movie in WMV format without it lagging severely!! It's on a 2GB card thats not even halfway filled. So I ruled out not having enough space...

  • I put my movies in MP4 format and get no lag whatsoever. The fact that its on a card and not on the phone itself is what causes a lag. I have experienced it in the past. LG recommends putting videos directly on the phone to watch but there's only 64MB of internal memory. Try saving in other formats if you can.

  • I tried putting it onto my phone memory, and it still lagged. For some reason, I have an available 180MB on my phone, after using 70MB. So I'm not sure why you've only got 64MB. Anyways, what I had to do was convert it to MP4 AND minimize the video to about 30MB and now it works. But the quality is worse than what you've got on your phone... I guess that's my trade off. Thanks for the input however.

  • was that kathy griffith?

  • yes it is. I'm going to see her show at the end of the month. She really kills me.

  • what file extensions does this phone accept? i've seen people say 3gp and maybe mp4 but i'd like to know the exact list of file types it accepts.

  • MO3, WMA, Unprotected AAC, Unprotected AAC+, MP4, 3GP, 3G2

  • thanks a bunch, just curious though, where did you find this information?

  • Off the spec sheet from LG. I think its also in the instruction manual, yes it is on page 156 under memory.

  • can i use a 16 gb card? and what program do u use to put the movies on your phone

  • Yes, you can use a 16GB card. I use Magic DVD Ripper. There is a more thorough video (in fact 2 parts) Watch Movies on your LG Dare and Put movies on the LG Dare Part 2. The process is exactly the same.

  • I have made two videos on that with the LG Dare. Same exact concept. Watch those. First one is Watch Movies on your LG Dare and the second one is Put Movies on your LG Dare Part 2. Those should answer any questions.

  • do u need to put it on airplane mode to watch a movie?

  • only if you are on an airplane.

  • i put Wall-E and Ironman on my LG Dare. Plus a couple of Family Guy episode.

  • Isn't that awesome? I love having movies/TV shows on my phone.

  • how do the movies play on your dare?

  • Are you asking about the quality of how do they play or the logistics? The quality is really good, if you are wondering "how to" put them on the Dare, watch the video called Watching Movies on your LG Dare, and Putting Movies on your LG Dare part 2

  • I love this phone! I am getting it Aug 1!! i cannot wait ANY longer!

  • I need help with my facial makeover feature and my panormia feature how do they work???

  • You don't need to do anything for facial makeover. If it sees a face in the photo, it will automatically remove blemishes. For panorama, you take five pictures starting from the left, moving a little further right for each one and line up the circles on the screen each time. Then the camera reconfigures them into one shot.

  • i put the memory card in the slot on my computer and when i moved it to the card on my phones memory it was found no where and on the card memory usage it had 600 more mega bytes taken up? What do i do?

  • What were you trying to do? Did you put a movie on the card?

  • do you have to buy the movies?? u rock at ur vids they r awesome!!!!!!!

  • If you are going to do it the way I'm suggesting, you'd have to buy or rent them. To use the DVD rIpper you need a DVD.

  • How long does the free trial last? Of the dvd magic ripper thing.

  • I think there are a certain # of uses. I bought it so I'm not 100% sure.

  • I think it only has 4 trials.

  • How do you get movies on to the card. Can you like put it into your computer and then move a movie file onto it. and where would you get the movie

  • I buy or rent DVD's then I put them in my PC and use a program called Magic DVD rIpper to turn it into an MP4 file. Then I put it on the card (which is in a SD adapter plugged into my card reader in the USB port on my PC.

  • how many gigs is your card? im debating on wheter to get a 8 gb or 16 gb card... i wanna put around 10 movies (rotating in and out) on it

  • can youenter like a personal lock code??

  • lol @ the peeling screen protector

  • Its the one that came on it. I hate peeling those original screen protectors off!

  • i have another ? what is the calabrition thing for in touch settings?????//

  • Calibrating the screen. Interestingly it helps the phone know if you are using something pointy or the tip of your finger. If I use my fingernail, it calibrates different than it would if I use my fingertip.

  • ps doesnt movies and videos drain a whole lot of the phones battery.

  • Sure. Think about a portable DVD player, granted its a much bigger screen but most only get about 4 hours.

  • tru very tru. if i get a cell fone in agust it will be my first cell fone. so i dnt know much bout cell fones.

  • watever i was the first views to all the ppl who keep sayin they comment 1st

  • how did u get the movies on the card

  • from a computer

  • I thought I explained it in the video, but I used a program called Magic DVD Ripper, its pretty easy to use (you can get a trial version of the software) I selected iPod for the Output Profile. Once compressed, I put my card in a card reader in the USB port of my computer, copied the file there, then put the card in my phone.

  • this broad has tweek hands
