it still requires fuel. it is just cleaner and more efficient in producing power (i doubt we will see a model that will power a whole home; it is more likely that it will reduce your home's energy costs by say 15-30% and be cleaner while doing it. the initial price minus goverment tax incentives would be recovered in savings within 5 years or so. I dont think electric utilities are gonna be happy about this...
