  • One thing's you probably ignored of is that after the pre-assemble, you can mod the armor pieces to make them attachable the frame in order to glue and polish the pieces. This will help in removing the modler's seal lanes.

  • i can see someone else has taken a page from Michael Fitchenmayer's book as well. good job man. like your work keep at it.

  • @zensninja haha, yep pretty much went by a lot of his guides to get to where i am at now., thanks bro

  • Looks like Kampfer is going hunting in the woods, and for some pretty big game by the looks of it...

Never would have thought to use salt like that.

    Cool tip!

    Nice job.

    :)

  • whats the hair spray for ?

  • @monkeybombs99 makes the salt stick and doesnt really harm the first layer of paint. also you can do other stuff with it. helps with chipping effects

  • @jumpingspoon02 ok thanks :)

  • The Weathering looks like Camo to me it's Very well done, i like it

  • looks like it was in a paintball fight lol good work on it :)

  • Love the weathered, battle damaged look.

  • Excellent work once again, sir!

Thanks so much for sharing how you went about painting the kit. I always look forward to your videos involving custom paint jobs because I can learn so much from the techniques you employ.

  • @Guiltaur Thanks man Im still learning though.

  • Looks fantastic, Jamie. The orange looks really cool, showing through the black. Kind of reminds me of fireworks^ ^

  • Wow, amazing effect jamie, I love the ingenuity you show when painting your kits.

  • Looks Awesome, really like the textured look. ^_^

  • So that's what he salt was for. Very cool outcome. ^_^. Will you do one for thanksgiving or Christmas?

  • @Gomenchaiii, yeppers, I already have thought of 2 I want to do for christmas but for thanksgiving well nothing comings to mind. I will just have to sit and think of some ideas I guess.

hehe, what are thanksgiving colors? wheat or tan or something, hehe

  • @jumpingspoon02 Hmm...those and orange for sure. Because of the pumpkins too. hehehe. It might be a mix of orange, light brown, and anything in between, and maybe a little bid of red for the leaves. :D

  • love the technique... it turned out amazing..

  • Cool outcome Jamie, i agree with cadderly about the space camo would work well. By the way why do I love your voice? hahaha great work as always, get some pics on GE ! <3

  • @kamniks, I have no clue. I posted the pictures of the "work in progress" in that section. Today Im taking more pictures and posting them in "finished" section.

  • This came out great! I know you made this for Halloween, but if it was white unneath, it would make great camouflage for in space!

  • @cadderly *underneath

  • @cadderly, that would be pretty cool. I can save that idea for maybe a future kit.

  • hey, this looks very good! very ingenious! good work
