The Primitives are one of my favourite bands ever. The original Thrash version of this track released only Lazy records (Lazy 03) brings goose bumps on my arms whenever I play it. Tracy is married now with children, but when I met her she just shined as a tiny Kim Novak. Coventry's finest.

The Primitives are the classiest rock band in history. The songs are extremely well crafted and there is no filler on any of their albums.

love the bassline and guitar solo.i went to school with tracey,she was threes younger and stole my lunch money.i met her when i was 19 in 1989 ( knowing she was in prmitives),she remembered me , apologised so i said what do you do now ?she walked off.lol.

Just one question about this great band, who is this drumer playing in that video? iT's not the usual one, or i'm confused or missed some change in their lineup..

It's Pete Tweedie, the original drummer from 1985-1988. Tig Williams was drummer from 1988-1992. Pete Tweedie made some cameo appearances as 'the bass player' in the video, Sick Of It and their TOTP appearance for the same song.

I heard this first on Andy Kershaw late night Radio 1 in 1986, 1987? Different hard guitar version, have it still on vinyl: still sends goose bumps on my arms. This to me is what "Teenage Kicks" was to Peel

I adored The Primitives - surely one of the most under-rated groups of the 80's. Sugar-sweet pop has rarely been better...and Tracy Tracy is as gorgeous as I remember!
