I have tears in my eyes :( The last time I saw this was 1976...I remember it well for at 7 yrs.old I freaked out on how DARK a kids record was. I mean SUICIDE on a kids record and the organ music in the background FREAKY! Can you play part two?
Why tears? Because it's "dark" or memories? I agree with ya! I thought it was a depressing comic as a little kid. I was 5 years old in '76. I'm currently playing Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2. The story line for Man Thing, former scientist turned monster, sounds SOOOoo much like a Resident Evil back story or plot. Like William Birkin (Resident Evil) and Ted Sallis (a.k.a. Man Thing) working on T-Virus / G-Virus together for Umbrella Pharmaceuticals.
The tears are for the memories:) I mean I use to sit in my room on the floor with my little turn table and just listen to all my 45'S G.I.JOE on SPY ISLAND and their was one called HOLO-MAN who would show holographic images like a nuclear war head.
Amen I think it was later on that I realized how creepy and messed up that was but I still love it. I still have The Man Thing, GI Joe and The Fantastic four the way it began.
I had this record and comic as a little kid in 1970's! Awesome! This also reminds me of Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 "Flashback" scenario. Which you can watch here on youtube. I would love to see a Man Thing / Resident Evil crossover comic!!
What program did you use to make the transitions, pans and zooms?
I read this story for the first time not long ago, and really enjoyed hearing it with the old Power Records version! Thanks *very* much for posting this!
In his origin Man-Thing had all of Ted Sallis' memories. In his second appearance he suddenly became mindless.
