  • when i try this in my nokia phone my screen broke

    nedding some screen now

  • is it possible to remove the silver film from the back of the screen or is that important? because on a pc monitor im pretty sure we took that off and it still worked fine, I was just wondering as that blocks a lot of the light. cheers!

  • Where is the backlight located?

  • wont the pixel resolution become a problem? i mean that is a very small lcd screen well that is unless the final projection will be small in size as well

  • What size of LCD this is? 4 inch?

  • @PareshRathod

    It is a 3" LCD

    Sorry for very late reply

  • where you buy that lcd screen

  • it's a football i chiseled it

  • how much did this thing cost to build ? i was looking up the parts at radio shack but i don't think thay have every much of the stuff u used

  • Did you check the link? There is an instructable of how I've done the projectors.

I had lots of parts, so I did expend around 60 pounds.

  • @Newtonn2 yes u tell me that all the time i'm a member on that site also whats up with that dvd rom player thing that thing looks kick ass

  • @Newtonn2 glad your talking british money lol not other currencies that i dont understand

  • Hi, thx for the information,

I found an HD screen 15 inches 720p at bestbuy,

I'm still thinking if I will take this one, because the MS is 8, a bit high.

Or I will get an 18.5 or 19 inches.

I also wonder for the Fresnel, if there's a size about the thickness?

Thx for your information, I appreciate :-)

  • Hi, I'm planning to build one, but i wondered, how many ms (speed) has the screen you used?

When you are watching an action scene (where theres a lot movements), do you have any ghosting images?

And thanks for your videos, I'm thinking to make a 1080p with 21.5'' LCD, you have any advice?

And I don't mind about the size of the box. :-)

    Thx again!

  • Did you check the link? There is an Instructable of how to do.

The screen is ok, never notice any ghosting images.

21.5" will be just too big, It will be difficult to find a fresnel that big. Why not using 15". you can get a really good resolution with that.

  • @LeSchackal your gonna need a big ass lens
