I wish you could do this for the Sapphire, Ruby, & Emerald versions. I love Gyarados but you have to catch a golden Magikarp in order to get a red one. Luckily I managed to catch one in my Sapphire but I've had no luck with finding another golden Magikarp in my other two games :(

I used Flaaffys' Thunder shock twice and it didn't die (Thank God) and it only has 1hp left. It killed 3 of my pokemons but it was worth it! My Flaaffy was at 26 and had a magnet. Btw 3 pokeballs used!
