I have E30 M3 with S38-B36 and had the same issue. Just change the chip with 6 cyl one and done it will show corect rpm. Dont try to change rpm graphic to 8000rpm because it will start read wrong again. Keep this one 6-7000rpm. Its located in the back of the cluster. After you will faster because you dont have to shift on rev limiter. Nice set up.
Der Typ hat halt einfach mal vergessen, den Codierstecker im Kombi neu zu codieren oder zu tauschen! 4 Zylinder-Kombi auf 6 Zylinder Motor zeigt halt Mist an weil er zu viele Signale pro Umdrehung bekommt! Motor dreht ganz normal so 7000 U/min wie am Klang eindeutig zu hören ist. Hauptsache M5 Motor drinne aber beim rest geschlampt...peinlich.
da sieht man mal wer keine ahnung hat schon mal was vom elastichen bereich gehört liegt zwischen max drehmoment und max Leistung (ps) da bringt der motor am meisten leistung nicht im roten drehzahl bereich oder darüber da geht die leistung eher runter und ein anderen schalttafeleinsatz würde ich mir auch mal zulegen
Hes not raping her, the motor is not supposed to be used with that cluster, its prob an rpm for a 4cyl car and hes running a 6 cyl, causing the rpm to read incorrectly, i have the same prob my rmp spins all the way around hehe but i got digital now.
the car has a m5 engine wich goes to 8500 rpm. the rpm meter has only 7000 rpm. it doesn't know when the engine has touch the redline. and that's why he push it to the limit

ein 6-zylinder DRehzahlmesser zeigt die echtdrehzahl von einem 6-zylinder MOtor immer richtig an!!
logischer weiße hat der verbaute S38-B36 e34motor einen viel spätereisetzenden drehzahlbebränzer,als der originale M20-B25 e 30 motor.
dennoch sollte es kein proplem sein,an dem drehzahlmesser im roten bereich die 7200U/pm ablesen zu können!!dann rechtzeitig zu schalten.von technik hast du keine ahnung,mein freund!

Begrenzer Regelt nur die Motordrehzahl ab damit man den schönen Motor nit Überdreht PS: Drehzahlbegrenzer bringt nix wennde bei 5000 U/min 5Th Gang in 4 Gang Schaltest, dann reißen die schönen Pleuel Lager aber denkt auch immer Dranne, in den Begrenzer nur wenn der Motor schön WARM ist (90°C)

nie no, respekcik, konkretnie ci sie kwadrat kreci, tak na moje oko wskazuje ok 9,5 tys;)) jedyne do czego moge sie przyczepic to wyglad, widzialem innych twoich filmach, ale to juz tylko kwestia gustu;)
