  • Haha ur welcome please make some more vids about it and stuffffffff!!!!! pllleeeeaaaaasssseeee

  • That is the hottest sniper ive ever seen!

  • @KingDaCool

Thank you very much sir! (",

  • Is this in the Philippines? The roosters are THE sound of the Philippines :D

  • Hey dude, that is some sexy gun you have there, great video aswell :) Could you please inbox me on how you increased the size of your mag please. Thanks alot, i subbed aswell :)

  • @TenerifeAlphaAirsoft

Thanks very much sir! There is a description of how I made this modification somewhere down in the comments, but I'll try to retrieve it for you. Have an awesome New Year! (",

  • Wow thats a VERY nice l96, love the scope the camo, the shortened barrel well everything. Great video :)

  • @Zi9makin9

Thank you very much sir! Have a Happy Christmas and a great New Year! (",

  • stll loud as fuck

  • shoot those fuckin roosters

  • im sorry but why the hell do you need a suppressor on this. so funny.

  • @brokensoundz01

Well sir, this weapon is still pretty noisy in the field... especially as this is already modified for power and accuracy. And as airsoft games go, the engagement distances are closer, so noise becomes an issue when you want stealth...leaves rustling, branches cracking, while the enemy is within earshot of you, etc...your hearing becomes more attuned to all these. If it could be engineered to be quieter than it already is then any advantage would help.

  • so what pet store did you make the video in

  • @JOYDUDE100

Its more like a zoo sir. Hehehe. 8)

  • 1) click the video

    2) hit number 5

    3) hit number 8

    4) compair the 2 sounds

    5) it works

  • hey i was wondering where did you get your clip and for how much?

  • @Gigidy32

Hi sir, are you referring to the dummy magazine or the actual Warrior 1 airsoft BB magazine? The dummy mag is a heavily modified H&K G3 mag (Well R8) to hold a spare of the actual BB mag. I also heavily modified the Warrior 1 L96 stock to accept the mag in the correct location. Check my other vids. I'm not sure about the price of the mag in your country so its best to check online. Thanks for the query and best of luck.

  • Great video, your gun looks great how'd u make the surpressor

  • @ghostrider905

Thank you sir. The suppressor I made is based on a real suppressor design but modified for airguns. Unlike many airsoft suppressors that simply use foam, it uses specially made baffles to trap the sound further. You can make a suppressor with PVC pipe or any hard plastic tubing of suitable size. I modified the barrel to match my suppressor as well. The overall system is short and compact but doesn't affect accuracy.

  • wow dude.. it really made a diffrence... i didnt think it would because all the sound comes from the piston hitting.. thats crazy

  • @thagooseisloose

Thanks dude! Its all based on physics really. Just takes some work though, haha. Have a nice day.

  • Just shoot the weapon you ugly no life bastard

  • @NSSPCSniper

God bless you too. Have a nice day. ;-)

  • DUDE! you should've shot your roosters so we can really hear! haha :)

  • dud ur dumb it doesnt matter if u have a silencer it is exactly the same the noise come from the piston hitting against the piston head the only thing a silencer does is to make it look cooler man ur dumb

  • @roadkill123321

No need to call names here. I have never been taught to defame anyone, especially those who I don't know. I won't start now. Are you really 26? We are mature people here trying to give information. As with you in your reviews. However, there really is a difference in the sound. It could be heard better on better speakers. My suppressor is really designed to mitigate the sound, using special baffles. It is totally silent at distance in skirmishes.

  • @roadkill123321

Thank you for taking time to watch. Regards.

  • @roadkill123321

...I am also a gunsmith with engineering and computer science backgrounds with my own fabrication workshop and I compete in real steel shooting on occasion . Any thing that makes sound can be made quieter through good design, so even if airsoft guns are inherently not very noisy they can be made quieter than they already are. Every small advantage is helpful in the field.

  • ...And also the "sound signatures" (as indicated in the title) were different. Without the suppressor the sound was a distinct and loud, high pitched snap, while with the suppressor, the sound was a muffled "pffft" with different and clearly audible sound characteristics. I just couldn't record the loudness as my DB meter was busted.

  • @roadkill123321 are u fucking deaf? it does sound fucking different fuckin troll

  • Nice vieo, my l96 sounds like dogs, yours sounds like roosters.... JKJK, would u make a video on how you made the suspresor??

  • @Olkowsr

    Hehehe... The Angry Birds! ;-)

I'll try to put up some vids as soon as I get my camera fixed...or when I get a new one, hehe. Thanks for the appreciation. :-)

  • The custom suppressor looks fantastic. I've used King Arms suppressors on my Type 96 build with great success in the past. I had especially good results with sub-2.3J (500 w/.20) springs. Could you post some details or perhaps a video regarding the materials and process?

  • @satsunuku

Thanks for the appreciation! Although my suppressor design is a bit confidential (hehehe), I'll see if I could relate the process in a similar way. ;-) ...but alas, my video cam is out of commission as of now, so that will have to wait... hopefully not very long. Thanks again!

  • @delta4s oh ok thanks :)

  • where did u get a suprresor... and how does a supressor make a spring weapon scilenced?

  • @xriscross1

You could get sound suppressors from airsoft stores or online, but I chose to make my own. I adapted some baffle designs (used in air gun and real steel) as an experiment to see if they were effective in airsoft guns, particularly loud modified ones like my short L96. It is effective in suppressing (limiting) the sound of the air coming from the barrel. The noise of the piston head hitting the cylinder head is a bit trickier though, where I used padding to help absorb the shock.

  • i hear phillipines!

  • @chrisdeli7158

    Salamat! Mabuhay! 8)

  • I think there is a same sound with or without silencer! Try gemtech Halo silencer!!!!!!

  • Go snipe some of those Roosters in the background! lol

  • Where did you get the extended clip?

  • @1stStateDrumNBass

The extended magazine is from a HKG3 replica (R8). I heavily modified the magazine and the body of the L96 to accept it in the correct position, because the Warrior 1 springer doesn't have the magazine in the correct location.

  • get a pelet gun i sugest bone collector

  • @Ryan64099

I do have several pellet guns, (as well as real firearms) that I use for target shooting and pest control. But I obviously can't use them for skirmishing. My airsoft arms receive the most use of any weapon I have.

  • what tool did you use to shorten the barrel was it a tubing cutter or somthing else

  • @RTgrunt114

After careful measuring, I did use a tubing cutter. But you could also use a hack saw, but that would involve more finishing work. The tubing cutter gives a more accurate and cleaner cut.

  • whats the point for a suppresor? its useless cant hardly hear the gun

  • @sentrygunner

You can still hear a shot being fired, but the smaller sound signature can let you get up closer to your target while minimizing the possibility that target/s can localize your position. Thus giving a safety margin for the sniper when he may need to change to another position. Same is true in airsoft battles as the ranges are far closer in skirmishes...making the suppressor all the more critical. Many good skirmishers have good ears.

  • FAIIIL. The L96 suppressed has a custom barrel. The suppressor is the barrel on the AI AWS L96A1

  • @hellcatdave1

No sir. The L96-suppressed has a barrel that is integral to the suppressor system. It is a slim and short target barrel (12.5 inches) that is shrouded by the suppressor all the way back to the breech, thus creating an expansion chamber for the exhaust gasses to dissipate, thus further aiding in the suppression process. This is manufactured by Accuracy International as a stock system by special order...and not "customized" by outside sources.

  • @delta4s

However, my gun does not represent the "AI L96-COVERT"... It roughly represents an "AICS Special Ops-version" I saw in an issue of "Special Weapons for military and police magazine 2002". That rifle actually had an AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System) and a Remington 700 short action. But a short (16") barrel and titanium suppressor. A little research please before you criticize other people's work. Thank you.

  • @delta4s Um, sir, the L96 suppressed has a custom barrel which is a suppressor. Don't try and correct me fool.

  • @hellcatdave1

No need to name call, it doesn't help. The issue is just semantics. We are both correct that the barrel includes the suppressor on the AI Covert rifle. The actual 12 inch barrel, the one where the bullet goes through, is inside surrounded by the expansion chamber of the suppressor. This is where excess gasses expand into to further reduce their energy. The baffle stack is in the front portion of the suppressor tube, clearing the muzzle of the barrel. Both are integral parts.

  • @delta4s The L96A1 AWS (Artic Warfare Suppressed) has a built in barrel, thats the only real suppressed issue of the L96.

  • @hellcatdave1

I get what you are trying to say, but for other readers, in basic English, it is the other way around... the suppressor is built AROUND the barrel. In all fire arms, the bullet passes through the barrel...specifically through the rifling of the barrel. The gun will fire even without the suppressor attached. It is not "built in barrel" but "built in suppressor". It is just a grammar issue. There is the AWS-standard and AWS-Covert.

  • Kill the chickens

  • L96 is an amazing gun

  • @42ilovegod

    Roger that!... Much! (",

  • shoot one of those damn roosters

  • Phillipino's love their airsoft.

  • Hey ow old do you have to be to own one of these. My Inervention ad gotten taken away, it was a gift from my brother at the Marine Corps. But i think I'm old enough.

  • @xSxOxUxRxMxIxLxKxx

Whoa, that's too bad! That is a sweet gun! 8/

In my country, the laws and regulations regarding airsoft are pretty lenient... but (for the sake of official regulations) you have to be at least 18 yrs. old to "legally" own one... or at least bring (the guns) to the game site... as there are a lot of kids (below 18) playing. I hope that you get something to replace that nice piece of hardware. Good luck! (",

  • @delta4s Ok thanks(I'm allowed of course)

  • you got verry strange nose xD are you asian?

  • @DonCorleone955

Well, I like it the way it is and I can breathe with it just fine, thank you. Yes I am Asian. I am Filipino, specifically. And damned proud of it! Thank you very much! XD

  • @delta4s sorry i didnt want to offend you, i just suspect that you are asian beacuse of your face strucuture and skin collor... your face is fine dont worry.. it was just a curiosity :))

  • @DonCorleone955

Don't worry, dude... none taken. Just a reply from a stressful day, forgive me. Have a nice day too dude! 8)

p.s. btw, how is the airsoft scene where you're at? :)

  • @delta4s well i atached my new (home made) scope shade and it's just look awesome!! well btw im having VSR-10 sniper rifle so its looking verry nice with *new scope shade* :D

p.s. how many FPS does your L96 have?? :)

  • they r both quiet

  • @IhmeGuy

Spring powered, airsoft gun, sir. :)

  • its pretty siick you can and did mod it to that extent, but to ME it ruins the whole gun it self in a look way, not performance. I read your annotation that the performance is unaffected but over all, its weird to me, good video

  • @PKedByBlade

That is the beauty of customization! To each his own I guess. Well, with ME, function dictates the form. Many of our sites are urban-jungle-woods where I my role is as a sniper, I needed something accurate but also short. I also modeled this gun from some actual Spec-Ops equipment (some mission specific: compact package, high capacity, bolt-action). Good luck to your projects. Thanks. (",

  • How exactly did you cut the outer and inner barrel?

  • @REDDEN727

I first measured the length that I needed then I used a pipe cutter, the one that rotates around a pipe for a clean cut. A hack saw would be do the job, but it would take more work to clean up the marred ends plus its difficult to "square" the ends of the bore. Then I filed and polished the bore when done. I also recessed the crown by beveling the edges. This is to smooth the exit of the air around the BB when it exits the barrel. Thanks. (",

  • this video doesnt have a 2:16 haha it is randomly skipped

  • @SkinnySlimJim

    You're right! Good eye! ;)

  • could u put a vid on how u change the l96, like the magizine and did u mount a ris on the actual gun or did it come like that

  • im pretty sure he was shooting the chickens

  • @mesarock2vh

    ...Right!

... you're fast! ... but the chickens were faster!... hehehe! ... Damn moving targets! (",

  • shoot the god damn chicken

  • @X7sfr7X

    ...hehehe! Fried chicken anyone? ;-D

  • wow man. that scaley paint job is sick. how u do it? and this is a WELL right? cudos on puting a Marui mag in it :P

  • @Slaughter619 Thanks for the comments man. The "scaly" paint finish was done using a plastic net of that pattern as the stencil. On the disassembled stock, you first spray a base color, in my case black, let dry and then wrap the net mesh around the stock. Spray the next color, in my case olive green, on specific portions of the stock to "randomize" the pattern.

I actually used a modified Well R8 (H&K G3) mag there, not a TM one. Thanks again.

  • the shorter barrel does make a difference in accuracy. i am sure a stock inner barrel will be so much more accurate than a shortened one. however in tight quarters u don't need that kinda of range. so it all depends on your average target distance

  • @dwiwwiw Theoretically, that is correct, and a longer barrel is preferable. However the difference is not as much as one might think. In testing, my custom shortened 6.01id EDGI bbl setup have consistently averaged .5" to .75" grouping CTC at 50-60 feet (you can check my other videos) . With proper BBs and a clean barrel I could consistently hit coke cans out to 120' (the limit of our lot). I am a big fan of shorter length precision weapons, which are especially useful in urban scenarios.

  • you might want to close your left eye while looking in the scope for a better view

  • @hawx26

Actually, I was trained to shoot with both eyes open. Its less strain to the eye and facial muscles, which in turn make you relax better and thus shoot better. It also makes for better situational awareness and speeds up target acquisition, making me respond to threats better. The technique is called the "Bindon aiming Concept" (BAC) and it works wit h any optic from 1 power reflex sights to high power target scopes. In the vid, I was shooting a tree, demonstrating the gun sounds.

  • @hawx26 hes right dude, thats how military snipers are trained, and if your basing your statement on all the war films where they close their eye to shoot thats wrong and a hollywood thing to make it look cooler

  • hey man continue making vids!!This rocked!!

hope to see some more vids soon.

  • @1908dalol

    Danke schön Sir!

    Glad you like it.

When I have more time, I'll do more vids. ;-)

  • Where did you get that haircut it rocks.

  • @ImakeAirsoftVids

hahaha... with some rusty scissors and razor... ;-O

  • what type of camo finish is that? snakeskin?

  • @5hiThAppEnS2

Very close. I call it "reptillian" camo. ;)

  • great vid man. can anyone help me with finding a suppressor/ silencer for my WELL L96 sniper rifle?

  • @5hiThAppEnS2 There are many ways to go about this. If you have the funds, you can order online for a suppressor and the corresponding adapter to thread on to the Well L96 barrel. Check the web for good airsoft sellers. You can also, like I do, custom make your own, (which I feel gives the best satisfaction! ;) There are a lot of how-to's (text, pics and videos) floating around the net, especially in youtube that you can try. Hope this helps and good luck!

    delta4s (",

  • Wow that looks beast, how much did you pay for all of that, the gun, upgrades, supplies, etc? Best L96 ive seen.

  • @dezrook

Its a lot less than you would expect sir! Well considering I didn't have enough resources to buy the top notch (put your brand name here) upgrades, I had to get creative and did a lot of the mods myself (2nd hand much! hehe).. where also lays much of the satisfaction you get in modifying. The hard part is the research and development and in trusting that these principles work before you even turn a screwdriver or swing a hammer. Thanks much for your appreciation! (",

  • that pattern on the stock is awesome. could you make a vid about that?

    GREAT VID!

  • @coolboy56773

I'll try to find time to do a video on that sir. Thanks for the appreciation! (",

  • @xtremeplayer145

Most of the standard L96 magazines are 5-10 rounds but some spec-ops marksmen may use higher capacity (anywhere up to 30 rounds!) according to the mission and in some sniper-competitions where they lessen the need to change magazines in multiple target, timed courses. Semi-autos can do the job but bolt-guns like the L96 tend to be more accurate and reliable.

  • ... Keen observation by the way. :)

  • god damn that looks cool whered u get teh silencer?

  • @JIPPIX94

Thanks. Its a custom fabricated unit used with the modified barrel.

  • that gun looks beast!

  • @coolattacker

    Thanks a lot!

  • chickens ?

  • @TikkingBomb

Yup... and the occassional rooster or two... ;)

  • Filipino :D

  • How do you get a shortened version? Did you cut off the excess barrel where the metal rod thing ends?

  • @tobizagod

The external barrel is shortened to a length of about 16.5 inches, the internal, shortened to fit the length of the external barrel, but it juts out slightly. I crowned it properly and polished the end to a mirror finish so it won't affect the bb's exit path.

  • I don't use the barrel cap. I am using a much thicker internal barrel from the stock unit... (EDGI 6.01, "Bull-barrel") so I don't have flex issues, which in turn can let me "free-float" it inside the external barrel. It also aids in sound suppression as the external barrel can act as an expansion chamber.

  • @delta4s so what exactly does it affect? is the range dropped?

  • @tobizagod

I wanted a shorter sniper rifle for the maneuverability and handling it gives in the urban settings that I play in. Range in airsoft guns are more affected by the hop-up settings. Good hop-ups can give you good range and consistent shots. In my testing the shorter barrel didn't suffer a range deficit. And it is just as accurate (if not better than) as an unmodified barrel, provided that you do the mods properly. See my other video: (1/2 inch @ 50ft)

  • i don't wanna shorten it it will look weird lol

  • hey what type of scope are you using

  • @duperman91

Its a Tasco 4-16X40 AOE. It has adjustable focus and an illuminated reticule. With screw-on sunshade, lens covers and custom made ARD (anti-reflection device). Its using high scope mounts to clear the large diameter suppressor and the custom made bubble level on the scope rail.

  • where can i get a silencer for a l96?

  • @airsoftdude9909

My particular rifle has a custom made suppressor which I made from scratch. You can get suppressors at any online store that sells accessories for bolt guns.

  • HEY! I noticed your magazine used as spare in the correct location like the Tanaka and the Tokyo Marui. So... how did you make that?

  • @808Kameleon

The first thing to do when doing this mod on a "Warrior 1" is to determine the right location for the box mag hole. I used the housing from an R8 Mag (H&K G3 SAS) since its is the closest to .308 caliber replica magazine that we have available here (spare M-14 mags are quite rare and expensive here, but they would have been better looking, IMO). I used this as a guide for the hole.

  • I also had to remove the "guts" (internals) of the R8 mag to check the mounting position of the Warrior 1 mag. The mag fits very snug actually and would be difficult to insert/remove, so I made a very thin spacer on the dummy mag. After a lot of thinking and After a lot of cutting, plastic-welding and sanding (& painting) of the stock I temporarily fitted the "dummy" mag and tried the fit of the actual Warrior 1 mag.

  • As you can see from the pictures that the Warrior 1 mag is well hidden. I'm working on the latching mechanism for the dummy mag, but for now I temporarily fixed the dummy mag to the stock. Thanks for the interest. ;)

  • those chickens are so iritating

  • @TheRdlion

Yup! I got them in my sights already! hehehe! ;-)

  • u are great my friend, i love that sniper i want one of them, i got just an ak74 and i'm planing to get a l96, i just love that rifle, your's look sick bro, i'm from Puerto Rico, here the airsoft are awesome!! God Bless You friend...

  • cool video and gun, but i'd recommend finding a quieter place to shoot and redo the vid, just for a bit better quality

  • Manny is a BAD BOY! BTW Great Rifle

  • @jefferystearns

    Hehe, yup, he's bad A**!

    Thanks for appreciating the rifle!

    Peace dude! (",

  • you a Manny Pacquiao Fan?

  • @jefferystearns

hehehe, I believe that everyone in my

country roots for him, me included...

Although I'm not much of a boxing fan. ;)

  • this gun is sick

  • Thank you very much sir! It is still a work in progress though. :-)

  • ha ha hes mexican you can here dinner in the back ground chickens and i think i heard a goat

  • Actually, I'm Filipino sir. This was shot in the suburbs of Metro Manila, Philippines... in Quezon City to be precise. But yes, It is like a farm out here... neighbor's chickens, dogs, cats, etc. hehehe. ;-)

  • he stuck a magazine on the gun to make it look more realistic or in this case more crappy, way too long WAY too long looks rubbish and pointless.

  • Actually sir, aside from making it more realistic, as there are real-steel L96 users, and even for other bolt action sniper rifles, with long magazines (some with 15-20 rounds! I have the pictures to prove it... or just google them. They may not look right at first, but you'll get used to seeing them. I suppose that some operators need that much ammo for their bolt guns.) I made mine FUNCTIONAL by concealing a spare magazine in it.

  • what type of L96 is that cause most l96's clips arnt popping out like that

  • @Atwood696 its because thats a high cap mag...

  • oh im sorry i have never seen a Sniper with a high cap magazine

  • longer the barral the less nous it macks well for paintball anyway:)

  • I was using ICS .25g "Extreme Precision" BBs for this test. I usually use .28g or .30g KSC "Perfect" BBs for skirmishes.

  • How did you make the clip so long????

  • If you are referring to the (dummy) magazine as the "clip" , I used a HK G3 magazine (I could also use an M-14 mag), and the reason for the length is, I used this to hide a spare Warrior 1 magazine to make it functional, not just as a cosmetic add-on. If the G3 mag was shortened, it would no longer hide the spare. And BTW, there are real-steel tactical rifles that have high-capacity (10-20 rounds), so my replica is justified in concept. Thanks for the question. :)

  • Yes I would recommend this because of the excellent ergonomics of the stock. Although it is a tad heavy to carry around. You get used to it though, and when shooting, it comes to bear naturally. I built an anti-reflection device into the sunshade of the scope and the flip-up covers are nice too. Plus a "bubble-level" on the rail helps me keep the gun straight when shooting. Thanks for the comment.

  • kickass scope, would u recommend this gun for an average airsoft sniper? nice modifications, you know what you're doing!

  • that Riffle is airsoft ?

    Cool!

I just had the real thing

    but they confescated it

  • Oh, that's sad to hear. That is one of my favorite rifles. I'm happy for you that you have a real one, but sad that it is no longer with you. Don't worry as something better is just around the corner. And yes this is an airsoft version, albeit a highly modified one. Thanks for the comment.

  • Thanks! Just sharing information. Have a good 'un :-)

  • dude you are great :D
