In this part of the south they call them waterbugs (I suppose just so they don't have to admit they are big cockroaches). I also hate bugs! I only had one so far and expect it was just an explorer... RAID worked on it. Great bug and cat story :)
@still7geo I don't think RAID, would have worked on this one! Hitting with a shoe, several times didn't do anything! If I sprayed it with RAID, he'd most likely look at me and laugh. Saying, I eat this like candy! Give me more! LOL.
That cat was probably was dropping the bug because it probably was biting the cat. That cat was not going to let the bug get away with biting him. Sounds like that bug had 9 lives. I am not fond of bugs myself and I know that my dog likes to play with them to. Silly animals. :P You had a cat with many talents. LOL
