I do dance and we are required to where fake eyelashes. I put my fake eyelashes on about an hour before i went on stage. While i was on stage i could feel my eyelash starting to fall off but i didnt do anything (because we have to ignore those types of things whilewere on stage) when i got off my eyelash ws almost completey off. Is not really embarassing but it felt weird having it half falling off :P

Well, one of the eyelashes started folding and the other one wouldnt go on right... and he just walked in and said "You look real natural" and winked. then he pulled them off and said i look gorgeous.

One time at a dance competition, my mom was applying my fake eyelashes. We had never practiced using them before, 10 minutes before I went on stage. Mom applied them. she put the glue directly on the eyelash. It glued both of my eyes shut. I ended up having to rip them both off 3 minutes before I went on stage. Moral of the story, I was blind for 7 minutes.

@lovethreehearts I'm a dancer, and I wear fake lashes every weekend because I have performances. All you have to do is grab the outer or inner edge and slowly pull it off. It shouldn't hurt too bad! Another tip for false lashes is that if the lash looks abnormally long on your eye (too wide) you can always clip off the end until it fits! Also, if you mess up while applying, its okay, you can take it off and reuse the same lashes. Hope I helped!

I was in my school play and for my costume, I was supposed to wear fake eyelashes. I was terrified that I would poke myself in the eye with the lashes. One day, as I was applying my make-up, I put the eyelashes on the wrong eye; when I blinked a few seconds later, the eyelash curled underneath my top eyelid and got stuck there for a few minutes- it really hurt. Oh also, the glue that I used smelled like dead fish and once, it exploded all over my hand; it smelled so bad.

My sister and I were wearing fake eyelashes to impress our rich side of the family when they were coming down for Thanksgiving, and we thought everything was going good, but then hers started coming off on the edges and you could really notice it, and mine were falling into my eyeball, so I decided to take them off of both of us.. well then it left a like of where i didn't put makeup on (because I put the lashes on first) and we colored that line with sharpie marker (: haha. it worked!
