  • HEY THERE, i didnt have any idea of the existence of this great film. I am a mexican who visited Anatolia like 10 years ago and it was an amazing place. What a pity we cannot find the dvd over here, but i bet it's wonderful, glorious, and it just made a mix of emotions inside me.

  • 0:44 one of the best performances i've ever heared ++++++++ !!!!

  • the song that starts at 1:57 is : Ahmet Yurt Dede-Eşrefoğlu Al Haberi

You can thank me later ;)

  • 1:57 - 2:04 nice reverb :D (effect to the voice) i think we (anatolians and constantinople/istanbul) have the best music !

  • Its realy realy nice !!! This is the prouf how is rich culture of Anatolia.Thank you for sharing !!!

  • Nezih, brilliant work. When will it be released with English subtitles?

  • WOW! Is this going to show at IFC? Anywhere where I can get see this in NYC?

    Wonderful work!

  • The Alevi people from Anatolia / Anadolu are mainly Turks, Turkic, Turkmen from Central Asia, but also Arabs and Kurds. Turkey is an Islamic nation. Salaam.

These ancient music and songs are awesome!

  • @EkBalam707 I think its really cool an American Mexican can appreciate music from a culture so far away ..

  • The real music of life. . .

  • i love türkei

  • Mükemmel ! paylaşım muhteşem fikir...

  • Can anybody provide a download link for it? Please please please :D BTW, stop arguing about history. Anatolia is indeed a great culture. And thank the Turks that they've inherited it and keeping it alive so far.

  • Anybody knows the name of the song in this video, singing by the man with the glaseses. Thanks

  • this is Turkish song and not Anatolian. Turks invaded Anatolia in 12 century

  • @MrRezz0 Not "invaded". But CONQUERED.

  • @fenerbahceism now it's time to go back in asia.

  • @MrRezz0

Many of the songs are Kurdish, Arabic, and I believe some are Greek (Pontic) and Armenian which are also Anatolian cultures. Turkish music is also there, as it is also a part of the Anatolian culture for the past 700 years or more. Circassian music is also included although its presence in Anatolia dates only a few centuries. These are all a part of Anatolia's rich musical heritage which dates thousands of years.

  • @Super1manwolfpack

most of the songs are turkish, old shamanic songs of turkish people, ancient turkmen songs, alevi songst etc. some lazuri, aramaic, zaza, and kurdish.

    greek? no.

  • @Super1manwolfpack Turkic presence in Anatolia is way longer than you think. It's not nationalist or populist claims but scientifical and historical truth.

  • cok süper bit video I LOVE TÜRKIYE
