Hey Colin. Just wanted to let you know that I've been a loyal follower of yours since Bad Company 2, and well I wanted to thank you for all of what you've done for me. Gave me tips and advice I would never learn by myself in Battlefield. Thing is, I don't particularly enjoy BF3 as I do with BC2, and I have a feeling you'll stop posting these amazing BC2 videos at one point. Hey, Colin. I know, you play Bad Company 2 on the console. I play it on the PC, but it's so dead :(. When they release the BF 3 the BC2 "murdered" on the PC, becauase almost every player/server moved to the new game. Nowadays, there are only a few servers, but the play is almost impossible in them, because I live in Europe (in Hungary) and the most of the servers are host "beyond the big water" if you know what I mean :). And Vietnam... nobody play it... I mean REALLY nobody...

i liked the lower damage in this game, i feel like bf games play better without the insta-kill weapons being all over the place. idk but the simplicity of bc2 seems to make it more relaxed for me than bf3, i guess because bf3 wanted to take cod players and appeal to them so they kinda made bf3 between bc2 and mw3. wish that wasnt the case

I totally understand. When I play Call Of Duty, it frustrates me alot more than I have fun. I think I might take a break from Call Of Duty and play some more BC2. It might be a difficult transition because of the lack of prone which in Call Of Duty has saved me several times.

I know some of the DCRU have pretty strong feelings about it, but it's got to the point now where I'm just sick of hearing about it in so many videos. I'm wondering if there's other people having this problem... They all use frag rounds and ext mag's... It's really driving me crazy, I cant be the only one... Reason being, if I make that video, and get recognized in a game, the entire enemy team switches to it... that's what happened when I bitched about the USAS in BFBC2, and I don't want it to happen again. I find it pretty mind boggling that a developer as good as dice couldn't see the potential for an automatic shotgun with rounds that are essentially explosive slugs to be overpowered. The MK3A1 is just as bad if not worse. I'm just holding out for someone at dice to realize that it's (IMO) overpowered and they release a patch.

@RizziSmoove The more accurate statement (when I'm not in-game and half in the bag) is that with server-side hit detection, I feel that the connection differential IS compensated for, and that the gunfights are much more fair. With the client-side system I don't feel that way at all. Doesn't ruin BF3 for me, but I much prefer the BC2 gunplay. That said, the "fair" fights come at the expense of shitty hit detection in BC2.

Maybe I'm in a minority, I don't know. I actually enjoy BF3 more than BC2. Maybe it's mostly because I have more squads I run with nowadays, but the gun and vehicle play feel more like my style of game. Don't get me wrong, I love BC2, but I prefer BF3.
