from what i've encountered the cops will cut you a HUGE break if you stop. (82mph in 45mph down to 5 over no points) not really worth running unless you're doing something extremely stupid.
Now I see what you mean by many won but this one lost. The CBR1000rr sport bike ended up in a nasty wipeout, costing the rider the chase and his getaway bike. The suspect is still behind bars. Just as the cops got to the biker, BUSTED. The biker ended up busted and behind bars. It's a wonder the rider survived the horrific accident!
People like this guy don't care if they fuck up their bike. This rider panicked......If your not confortable with your bike, don't dip from the cop! Its worth getting a damn ticket than crashing the bike!
first of all you failed to outrun a slow car... IMO second of all you did not turn! tip number one take as many turns when outrunning cops!! tip 2 cut lights/ cover up taillight somehow! and wow your terrible man sorry to say and fuck the police for fishtailing and almost hitting that car risking other poeples lives in a huge car rather than letting the quick nimble bike run away...
Here are some examples of his terrible riding. At 1:58 while shifting, he manages to turn on his blinker somehow (probably panicing). Then at 2:35 he locks up his reer wheel going thru a green light for some reason (you can se the skid mark at 2:37). At 2:45 he takes one of many terrible corners by starting inside and drifting out. And finally, the obvious sign hes a terrible rider was at 4:54. He had three seperate routs he could have taken, and he chose the 4th rout with a pole in his path.

I think you misunderstand me...I'm all for running from the cops, but I don't think, if that was you riding, you have a snowball's chance in hell of getting away. That guy was going way too slow...Night is a bad time for it because at the speeds you need to be going you quickly overdrive your headlight...It's debatable whether going from an '09 CBR 600 to a '00 1000 is much of an upgrade with poor riding skills.

Rider inexperience was major factor. Even with a 600 he should've been able to be have taken off within the first 10 seconds and loose them especially in that open road with no traffic.
@Cal3b222 It was a charger cop car, I also think it might of had the 5.7 hemi in it rather than a crown vics 4.6 or the normal chargers 3.5 v6, the hemi helped him keep up, even though i do agree a experienced rider could easily outrun a cop on a 600, hell if hees really experienced he could out run a cop on a 250

Well IDK how long he got but in lynchburg, VA where i ran from the cops on my honda cbr 600 i got 6 months for it, all cuz a snitch called it in too...first time offenders for felony eluding only tend to get a max sentencing of 6 months in jail.

I think you misunderstand me...I'm all for running from the cops, but I don't think, if that was you riding, you have a snowball's chance in hell of getting away. That guy was going way too slow...Night is a bad time for it because at the speeds you need to be going you quickly overdrive your headlight...It's debatable whether going from an '09 CBR 600 to a '00 1000 is much of an upgrade with poor riding skills.

@bcrusen running at 160mph cops only say 110 because its iilegal to chase in ga over 120.. also there was no head lights on the bike just LED light strips thats why the stop took place .. but fuck that if you seen someone trying to steal your bike or known for shooting at ppl cuz you have a honda and the cops rite there.. fuck them im not stoping for them lol.. also i started out on a 1000

Rider inexperience was major factor. Even with a 600 he should've been able to be have taken off within the first 10 seconds and loose them especially in that open road with no traffic.

@Cal3b222 It was a charger cop car, I also think it might of had the 5.7 hemi in it rather than a crown vics 4.6 or the normal chargers 3.5 v6, the hemi helped him keep up, even though i do agree a experienced rider could easily outrun a cop on a 600, hell if hees really experienced he could out run a cop on a 250

Man you had them. You definitely pulled on them a few good time. You should have hit the parkway or something. I know the lights concerned you. Atleast with the parkway, freeway etc. There are no red lights. Just lose them between the cars & get off exits before the helicopter gets out. Glad you made it out not to hurt.

Well IDK how long he got but in lynchburg, VA where i ran from the cops on my honda cbr 600 i got 6 months for it, all cuz a snitch called it in too...first time offenders for felony eluding only tend to get a max sentencing of 6 months in jail.

@ sweep1001 well there is more to the chase than the chase there was a criminal act going on in the bike show that set the chase where its at. if u look closer you can see how the first car runs the yellow light .. theirs more to the chase than what you see

The police had no business chasing him that quickly. Not only was going that fast irresponsible on the police officers part he should have known the guy riding the bike was going to wreck trying to get away. I surprised the guy running lived.
