That wasn't verbatim but you can just re-watch it for the exact words.

Meaning Specter had to have received it because he dictated something back to Kennedy, and that before that particular hearing Kennedy had even sent some response to whatever Specter had said back to him. So not only was there proof that Specter did in fact receive it since he responded to it, he now had to claim he not only didn't receive one letter (that he responded to, which is obviously impossible)

Just because Kennedy sent him the letter to Specter doesn't always mean the receiver got it. Kennedy's staffer could have sent the wrong one to another Senator or Specter isn't telling the truth.

i liked this Ted Kennedy! One I never got to see too much! Been bussy! He laied a excelent foundation with his family for me and my generation. I somehow slid through the cracks.
