The corrupt government(s) of these countries have the authority and power to negotiate the oil leases with whatever companies want to come in and develop the production of oil. THERE is the problem!! The oil companies do not STEAL the oil, they buy it on whatever terms the government of a particular country allows them. SHAME on these corrupt governments!
It may be difficult to understand exactly what these two women are saying, but the big oil companies (especially Shell Oil) are exploiting these people and destroying their environment with thousands of oil spills and noxious pollutants from gas flares. The level of greed by the oil companies is outrageous!! The people of Nigeria deserve better.
