whats the song that they sing at 0:39 ??????? cuz i have tried to figure it out for so long now and i dont know what its called so if anyone knows please let me know what its called.
@gdsc4 Because they really weren't sure how it went. We had all written down requests and they pulled them from that bucket on stage. No matter what song of theirs was pulled out they tried to play it, even if it was really old and they didn't quite remember how it went. Like Ed says at the end, they wrote the Big Bang Theory really fast, recorded it and never played it at shows so he didn't remember it. Not pretend, for real! :)
I wont to a full tab, but its basically just a loop of C, D, G, Eminor. Between the G and Eminor you 'walk' down the bass string (E)so-to-speak, through frets 3, 3 then 0.
Any minor variations as the song progresses are just tweaks and can be figured out pretty easily - but the above pattern will fit for a play-a-long.
Great song. I mean no insult when I say that it seems that the chords were written as quickly as the lyrics!!!
Um, what part are you confused about? Yes, the Big Bang Theory was written/recorded by Barenaked Ladies for the CBS comedy by the same name. The theme for the show opening is really short, but the band recorded a longer version and released it on iTunes.

@xoxoNoyxoxo I think it *might* be La Isla Bonita by Madonna, with quite a few lyrical changes.

Thanks for posting - as a non-double-dipper *NOW* I understand the whole "Michael from San Dimas" thing.

I'd also like to know the chords (or tab). I tried to work it out but I'm not very good.

You should find the tabs in ultimate guitarre or e-chords, the progression is fairly easy C D/F# G Em7
