  • The sweet sound of a diesel!

  • lol

  • its a good machine heavy tho obviously lol we own one gots alotta torque

  • where u guys from

  • @claykid62 Ohio

  • @bair24 what part of ohio

  • @justinbeiberinC4 Champaign county

  • This fourwheeler is not made for speed it is for pulling climing

  • oh LORD won´t you buy me

    an arctic cat diesel!!

  • nice sound

  • will it shoot black smoke

  • @devio123 yes

  • @bair24 like just poor it

  • @devio123 it will poor it if you are working it hard. I pulled a side by side out of a mud hole and smoked him out pretty good

  • @bair24 wow that so cool i want one

  • Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • come on man...it's been 6 minutes...lol

  • do you ever have problems starting it on cold mornings i'v herd alot of bad stuff about arctic cats but i'v always liked them and wanted the arctic cat deisel can you tell me if you had ay problems at all and how you like it

  • @wwilli83 never had any problems with it, starts even when it gets in the single digits. I love it and wouldn’t trade it for any other ATV.

  • where was this at and what was the temperature

  • @wwilli83 ohio in my woods its about 22 degrees

  • ok im dizzy now, im going to puke

  • just a quik qestion sorry for spellin if i wanted to put 30 inch outlaws would it have the power and would they fit wouthut lift kit or should i just het a canam outlander 800r couse i think deisel would be better in the mud but then again the arent a high revin motor.

  • @sargentghost24 Don’t know if the 30in would fit I run 27in and have a lot of room and have plenty of power but if you don’t love diesels you will be happier with the outlander 800 it has much more power and speed but if you love diesels you won’t be sorry it’s a sweet machine.

  • can anyone tell me how fast one of these 700 diesels top out at, im gessing around 45 50?

  • @ericpinter29 top out at 40 45 mph

  • have you ever watched paint dry?

  • bair24 I have had this ACD also for 3 years and love it, It is no speed demon but that OK with me. I checked into turbo'n it with Lambardi and they told me the valves would not hold up to the extra heat so I dropped the idea. If you find an option for the turbo let me know.

I use my deisel elk hunting at 10,000 ft alt and it has trouble sucking enough air for high rpm's but it will keep up with the gas 500 & 600 cc models.

It climbs some serious hills & only used 3gals, gas guys used 15 gals

  • a diesel atv? wow, I did not know existed ... but it is also turbo?

  • @uyfguyfgv no its not turbo but mine will be soon

  • CRACK slpash LOL

  • hey what advantages do you get from the diesel vs gas?

  • @smyers820gm You get a lot better fuel mileage 30% more or so

  • @bair24 And Power, I'd assume.

  • should have a turbo

  • lame video..

  • hao much hoesepower / torque does that have

  • @immortalrapper not real sure but it has a good bit more now that I turned the Injection pump up on it

  • thats a powerfull atv my uncles friend has one but its not diesle

  • nice helmet

  • and that doesn't fall through how?

  • $10,000 machine so you could just spin in circles??

  • @Cletus32261 Yes for that 10min anyway.

  • Comment removed

  • @Cletus32261 LOL gotcha thats a awesome ATV not much gonna stop that thing

  • Comment removed

  • @Cletus32261 give him credit those are some damn fine circles

  • @PatrickUKnz Absolutley he's doin a fine job thats a nice atv

  • nice quad

  • love the sound of that diesel at idle.

  • artic cats r junk

  • ok thanks.

  • do you know how much it costs and your lucky you have one .artic cats are the best by far.we are getting one

  • @justinbeiberinC4 you can find new diesels under 8000.

  • @justinbeiberinC4 Arctic Cats lick balls.... Yamaha is the way to go!!

  • @BMAN167 I like Yamaha. I really do. I have 2 Yamahas.

But show me a Yamaha ATV that's going to have the stump pulling torque of the diesel Arctic Cat. Or for that matter, the strong CV joints and shafts this Arctic Cat does.

  • @WKHalford YAMAHA GRIZZLY 700

  • @BMAN167 Although the Grizzly 700 is a great machine, and although I like most everything Yamaha makes, Arctic Cat is known for having strong CV joints and shafts.

And NO gas engine is going to have the amount of torque at idle and low in the RPM range like a diesel engine does. Plus, a diesel will use less fuel. WHY do you think that the big rigs use diesel engines?

I'm sorry to break it to you, but Yamaha doesn't have ANYTHING like this machine.

  • @WKHalford ok.. dont disagree with the diesel part or bout the CV joints, but as a total package they have no chance against the Grizzly

  • @BMAN167 Agreed. When it comes to recreational riding, the Grizzly wins. This is mostly because of significantly less weight. Add the Grizzly's quicker revving engine that has more horsepower and shorter wheelbase, and it's a better performer in most any off-road situation.

But although the Grizzly is plenty for work for most people, the torque, extra weight, and longer wheelbase of the diesel Arctic Cat make it the harder worker.

But yes, I would choose the Grizzly 450/550/700.

  • is that yours

  • You might want to consider a helmet.

  • the guy holding the camera´s like IS IT MY FUCKING TURN SOON?!

  • will it roll coal?

  • @DISS42JR not a lot but some

  • oh lokk out there a tree not lol nice bike

  • more money to pay for gas

  • @ace930981119 It's not gas. It's diesel.

Diesel doesn't aways cost more. It costs less to refine diesel. What makes it more at the pump is taxes. And much of that depends on the state, since diesel isn't more than gas in every state. I've been in several states where diesel costs less.

Regardless, it's usually not THAT much more per gallon, yet a diesel engine will use less fuel. So it still costs less for fuel since it uses less.

  • Hey, do you have any problems with the transmission when it gets wet??

  • @DrJohnBecker I have never had it get wet its sealed up pretty good but I have never had it any deeper then2 ½ feet

  • my gokart is 5.5 hp and it goes 65 that thing is 700cc and it only goes 45 wow

  • @ace930981119 So what’s your point it’s all about gearing.

  • @bair24 its a fucken deasel not made for speed but brute force power

  • @bair24 700s go 65 too my uncle has a 700 gas arctic cat so this might go slower or might be the same but at least it has pulling power! IF you want speed get a sport quad!

  • @bair24 ya but still if i was to put that motor on my go kart it would go about 130 maybe 140

  • @ace930981119 no it wouldn't the motor only turns around 3100 rpm a go kart turns more around 7or 8000 rpm or more and I bet you can't run 130 or 140 with the motor you have now so putting a motor that turn less rpm will only make you go slower.

  • @bair24 but if you install a cvt clutch kit with large spindals the extra diesel torque would easily spin the cvt plates until they maxed out but who would waste that on a dumb go kart that some ones dumb friend is gunna wreck anyways

  • @bair24 The new 2011 version has a higher rpm and a few other improvements.

  • @bair24 you have 3 times the torque tho

  • @ace930981119 Take your Gokart to the mud and see what happen then.

  • @ace930981119 Take your gokart to the mud and in the terrain in the forrest and see what happen then :)

  • @ace930981119 its a fucking atv. not a gokart. its way heavier. but i'd still like to see ur little piece of shit gokart go mudd'in.

  • @ace930981119 hey man keep in mind. its a diesel, diesels move slower but have more power

  • y have a diesel fourwheeler its just more expensixe gas

  • @highwaystar148 bc I love the sound of a diesel engine and the torque, and it will go twice as far as a gas on the same amount of gallons of fuel, and the last off road diesel I got was cheaper then gas so it’s worth it to me.

  • how do you like the diesel?

also how well does it get around and how fast does it go?

  • @Rabiesthecat I love it gets around great tops out at 45mph

  • wheres the spark plugs at ? lol

  • cats are JUNK.....

  • @miracledrug5150 no there NOT dickhead

  • hey, does this thing use glow-plugs? because i doubt it has an enigine block heater plz reply.

  • There are two glow plugs that stick down in the engine head and they each heat a cylinder.

  • They should have suited the tranny to the engine rather than use the same one as the gas version. No reason the top speed couldn't be better and same with the acceleration with a proper setup. Looks like a real workhorse which will last a very long time, though, which is the most important thing.

  • I wish it had a manual transmission that would be sweet

  • SUCKS that its an auto.

  • I want to buy arctic cat diesel, but in my country is not part of it. Can You write me something more about your quad?

    Regards;]

  • Do you have more video. Are you heppy of arctic cat diesel?

  • yes just some short ones. yes I am very happy with the diesel it is great.

  • wow man you can go to the artic cat dealer and they sell diesel you idiot my cousin owns an artic cat dealership so i would know.

  • Yeah I thought it was common knowledge that Artic Cat made a diesel, lol hey whos the retard here?

  • Powersguy - are you that inept that you can't just google "Arctic Cat Diesel" and see hundreds of hits, reviews and websites on Artic Cats Diesel. Research before you put your foot in your mouth

  • you guys are all fucking retards for believing some bullshit like this. this is not diesel and never will be. no atvs are diesel and prolly will be another 10 years before its even in the plans. you guys are seriously some of the dumbest people on youtube if you believe this is a diesel. and to the person that posted this vid, good job on making everyone THINK this is a diesel because they dont know better. fucking retards.

  • Man I am sorry but Arctic cat makes a diesel and they have for several years now just look at the Arctic cat web site.

  • @bair24 dude. i highly doubt your work for arctice crap. and post me a link. ive never seen one and i doubt its true..

  • you are right I dont work for Arctic Cat and I never said I did you are a big boy if you want to really see if they exist you can look them up your self

  • wasnt talking to you man, was supposed to go to mike12392

  • lmao i work for artic cat and yes we do have a 700 diesel dumb ass why dont you go look it up before you talk becuase you look like a fucking idiot now lol dumb ass

  • @powersguy

Maybe you should do just a little research next time, before making yourself look like a total ass. It won't let me post a link, but use the search feature on the internet. keywords: Arctic Cat Super Duty Diesel.

Then come back and apologize for your ignorance.

  • you should read before you speak. ats an arctic cat 700 DIESEL. get your foot out of your mouth and your head out of your ass and do some damn reasearch before you start mouthing off and get your ass handed to you by anyone with some common product knowledge. listen to the fucking thing! you have been told by the public of youtube.

  • your fucking retarded period thats it. they have been researching desil engins in 4 wheelers for military use for the last 3 years . as of 2009 arctic cat came out with its first publically released desil 4 wheeler. so dont open your mouth if you dont know what the fuck your talking about

  • lol where did that cat learn to dance like that

  • can you make a video of blowing some smoke

  • does it blow smoke

  • The only time I seen it blow some pretty good black smoke was when I was pulling my dads side by side out of a mud hole. It never really smokes just driving it around.

  • does this have a preheat system? how does it start bone cold?

  • Yes it has glow plugs

  • does it fire right up then?

  • Yes it take right off I had to glow it twice when it was below 10 out and it popped right off.

  • wow thats really good, i know alot of the super duty pickups dont even do that, except the cummins, also a smaller preheating system for big engines, maybe you could do a cold start video for me?

  • put a helmet on

  • hell i'm never racin mine anyways... i'm either muddin or pullin stuff... how much did yours cost?

  • I gave 7800 for it

  • it sounds like a gas until u stop then u can hear the diesel knock.....nice bike man whats the fuel mileage on that?? my polaris 500 gets about 120 km on a 15.5L tank

  • I really dont know I have never checked it but when I am riding with people they will fill up twice as many times as I do.

  • are those quads turbo'd

  • no but you could put one on it

  • hows it workin for ya

  • great

  • Isn't it to weak? I mean, does it have good acceleration? Can you compare acceleration with diffrent quad?

  • It accelerates slower than a gas but it is a diesel it doesnt run half the RPMs a gas does so its going to be slower cents they pretty much both have the same transmission.

  • is there a button or switch on the quad to heat the glow plugs??

  • they turn on with the key

  • How is the power on the diesel atvs?

  • its great lots of torque.

  • What's the top speed?

  • 45 mph on a hard surface

  • that's not bad.

  • do you ever have a hard time starting tht in the cold because itz a diesel... i was gunna get one of these but then got a sportsman

  • No it starts every time

  • sounds sick!

  • Did you use 07 650H1 shocks & springs? Also was it the 650 H1 FIS, TRX or TRV shocks? I have the diesel and love it. It is a workhorse!

  • I used just regular 06 650H1 shocks and springs, they gave it a lot more ground clearance

  • @bair24

Did you find that the front springs and shocks were soft? I had recently put on some 08 700H1 springs and shocks on my diesel and found that the front shocks and springs were soft. They sucked down about 2-3 inches. (This is when they are turned all the way up). Thinking of putting in a little lift as well.

  • @Cockshuttman no, my shocks are fine. They're off of an '06 650H1 and I think '08 is when they started putting softer shocks on them to give them a more sporty feel. I would look into putting '06 shocks on, the stiffer shocks will help with your ground clearance. I have 14 inches of ground clearance with 27 inch tires. just another way to go if you don't really want to put a lift on.

  • that would be fun for a dune buggy/ go cart cause thats what i have

  • Helmet pops helmet-

  • Do these diesel Cats use less fuel than a gas model?

  • Yes about 50% less

  • can am is the worst by far

  • arctic crap. only can do that on ice ahahahaha Can-am rocks

  • how deep is the water under the ice?

  • 2ft

  • your lucky that the ice didnt break even though its only 2ft deep

  • Comment removed

  • So I bought the 2007 model of this machine. I love it and can't wait to plow snow with it in Canada winters ;)

  • i am getting a giant 700 susuki i two moths are they any good?

  • I have nothing bad to say about them

  • Arctic Cat Four Wheelers Are Problem After Problem. But The Artic Cat Sleds Are Nice!

  • No problem here but pretty much the only thing Arctic Cat on it is the frame.

  • joey c´mom man

    what?

    it´s been 6 minutes!!!

    HAHAHA lmao

    good one :)

  • it runs on diesel right.? That is not just a name

  • Yes it runs on Diesel I got one now too and love it!

  • What about the acceleration? I think that 18hp is not enough for such a big quad.

  • lol if that quad is only 18hp my 250 thumpstar has as much power as it

  • Still have this puppy and love it? I'm getting a 07 tomorrow almost brand new has like 4miles on it hehe.

  • nice...I have one of the 700 diesels. you know of any one that would be interested?

  • should have done a few cyclones

  • nice lazy diesel torque!

  • how does the diesel drive

  • great just wish it had EPS

  • whats eps

  • Electric Power Steering

  • @bair24 yeaah to right we got one of these on the farm they are a right effort to turn, especially in 4wd

  • Slow and steady. Ok for work, but its no ball of fire!

  • That looks like FUN!!!

  • Do diesels sound different than gas?

  • Yes

  • is there en diesel soot

  • haha he was haven fun
